Eligibility: The “Send and Win” Instant Win Game (the “Promotion”) is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) and legal residents of the U.S. (having a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN)) who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Western Union Financial Services, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), its Agents, Marden-Kane, Inc., Istanbul IT (the “Web Developer” and “Administrator”) their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or any other suppliers to Western Union (collectively “Releasees”, “Released Entities” and/or “Promotion Entities”) and their immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses regardless of where they live) and individuals living in the same households, whether related or not, of the above, are not eligible to enter or win. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the winners. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws, and regulations.

Timing: Starts December 14, 2020 at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ends December 31, 2020 at 11:59:59 PM ET (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion Period is further divided into eighteen (18) daily stand-alone entry periods (each an “Entry Period” or “Day”), with each Day corresponding to a stated number of prizes for each Country, as set forth in Rule 4 below. For purposes of this Promotion, a Day is defined as a 24-hour period beginning at 12:00 AM ET and ending at 11:59 PM ET. The Sponsor’s computer, or that of its designee, is the official timekeeping device for the Promotion.

HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter as further detailed below.

Via a Western Union qualifying transaction. Each Day during the Promotion Period, when you make a qualifying Western Union Money Transfer® transaction sent via the WU App (a “Qualifying Transaction”) you will be given the opportunity to play that Day’s Send and Win instant win game (the “Daily Game” or “Game”) for a chance to win a prize instantly. Immediately following the completion of a Qualifying Transaction, you will receive one (1) Game play. Follow the on-screen instructions to play the Game. After playing the Game, an Official Game Message will be displayed. If you receive a winning Game message, follow the on-screen instructions to claim your prize. Any other message or lack thereof, indicates you are not an instant winner of a prize.

NO PURCHASE/TRANSACTION NECESSARY. To participate in the Promotion and receive a direct link to the Daily Game without making a Qualifying Transaction (as noted above), send an email with the subject line: Send and Win Daily Game Play Link for – US or CANADA to info@winwithwu.com. The subject line must include your country of residence. Within the body of your email, provide your complete name, city/town/province/state, and age. To be valid, your email must contain the information requested above. Limit one (1) link request per person/email address per Day. Valid requests will receive a direct link to the Promotion Daily Game Play page, delivered via email for one (1) Game play. Follow the on-screen instructions to play the Game. After playing the Game, an Official Game Message will be displayed. If you receive a winning Game message, follow the on-screen instructions to claim you prize. Any other message or lack thereof, indicates you are not an instant winner of a prize. By providing your email as noted herein, the sender acknowledges that they are providing the information requested solely for the purpose of participating in this Promotion. For more information regarding the use of entry information see “Privacy” below. Proof of emailing does not constitute proof of delivery/receipt.

Only Codes obtained via Rule 3(B) will be valid. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All winners are subject to verification. Winners will be determined through random processes as further explained in Rule 4 below. Limit of two (2) Game plays per person/per Day, throughout the Promotion Period regardless of method of entry.

WINNER DETERMINATION, AVAILABLE PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING: Winning times for each available prize will be randomly generated throughout the Promotion. If you are the first eligible entrant to play the Game at or after one of the randomly generated times for your Country, you will be the instant winner of the prize indicated.
Available prizes (quantities and prize descriptions) for each participating Country, are outlined in the chart below. Odds of winning a prize depend on whether your Game play occurs at or immediately after one of the randomly generated winning instant win date/times within a one-day period. If Game Plays exceed the disclosed maximum per day, by any means, including but not limited to establishing multiple email accounts, they will be disqualified from participation in this Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to refuse/deny any Game play to any entrant it feels does not meet the eligibility qualifications stated in these Official Rules. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded for any Country on any Day during the Promotion Period. The Sponsor or Administrator will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. Any Game Play that occurs after the Game system has failed for any reason is deemed a defective Game Play, is void and will not be honored.

GENERAL RULES: If an entrant submits more than the stated number of entries permitted, and/or if the Sponsor suspects that an entrant attempted to obtain additional entries by using multiple email addresses, registrations, identities or any other method, all entries submitted by the entrant may be declared null and void. Entrants/winners agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Promotion Entities from and against any and all liability (including damages caused or claimed to be caused) arising out of participation and/or acceptance/use of a prize, and agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the Sponsor’s/Administrator’s decisions, which are final. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, including a winners list, unless prohibited by law. Claims may not be resolved through any form of class action. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. If for any reason, including but not limited to an administrative, printing, production or other error or due to incorrect announcements of any kind, more winning Official Game Messages are distributed or more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded for any prize level according to these Official Rules, intended prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize level. In no event will Sponsor be obligated to award more than the stated number of prizes. In the event of a printing, production, or other error neither the Sponsor nor its respective agents and agencies shall have any liability.

GOVERNING LAW: This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws, and regulations. This Promotion and these Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Colorado without regard to its principles of conflicts of law. Jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within the State of Colorado. By participating, Entrants agree that any and all disputes arising out of or relating in any way to this Promotion shall be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by a state or federal court located in the state of Colorado. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Colorado and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Colorado.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion-related materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.

NOTICE TO ENTRANTS: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. In the event a dispute arises regarding the specific individual entitled to receive a prize, entry will be declared made by the person identified to Western Union as the “Sender” of the Western Union Qualified Winning Transaction; if the winning entry is associated with a Code obtained via Rule 3(C), entry will be declared made by the person assigned to the email address from the selected entry. The failure of the Released Parties to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, epidemic, act of public enemies or any act outside of the Sponsor’s control/force majeure event, will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR CANADIAN RESIDENTS: Canadian winners will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill question administered via the prize notification/redemption email, at the Sponsors sole discretion, prior to awarding of a prize.
