NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID
WHERE PROHIBITED.
The Verizon 3 Years of Super Bowl Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on January 5, 2023 at 12:01 a.m.
Eastern Time (ET) and ends on February 15, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). By
participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and be
bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Verizon Corporate Services Group Inc. (“Sponsor”),
which are binding and final in all respects.
1. ELIGIBILITY.
The Sweepstakes is open to individuals who: (i) are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their
state of residence at the time of entry in the Sweepstakes; (ii) are legal residents of the 50 United States
or the District of Columbia; and (iii) are NOT in one or more of the “Prohibited Persons” categories listed
below. Any entry submitted by any ineligible person will be void.
Prohibited Persons. The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes: (i) current
and former employees (including, but not limited to, consultants, independent contractors, temporary
employees, and interns) of Sponsor, Momentum Worldwide, and Elser Interactive (“Administrator”), NFL
Entities (as described below), and of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, authorized agents,
retailers, sales representatives, distributors, suppliers, advertising agencies, promotion agencies
(hereafter collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) and immediate family members of each such individual;
and (ii) all individuals (including, but not limited to, consultants, independent contractors, temporary
employees, former employees, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for
Sweepstakes Entities. “Immediate family” members include spouses, grandparents, parents, children, and
grandchildren, whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, cohabitation, or other family
extension.
2. HOW TO ENTER.
By entering, you are agreeing to receive marketing emails from Verizon. To enter visit a participating
Verizon retail location and scan the Sweepstakes QR Code to access the Sweepstakes registration, or visit
www.VZ3YearsSB.com (the “Website”) during the Sweepstakes Period. All participants must accurately
complete and submit the entry form including your first name, last name, email address, phone number,
address, city, state, and ZIP code. Once you have completed the foregoing, you must agree to the Official
Rules and Privacy Policy before clicking the “submit” button to enter (each, an “Entry”). Entries must be
received by the close of the Sweepstakes Period.
3. CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL ENTRIES.
Limit one entry per person and per email address. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device
for the Sweepstakes. All received entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be
acknowledged or returned, and no correspondence will be entered into. Any attempt by an entrant to
obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities,
registrations and/or logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be
disqualified if discovered by Sponsor. The use of automated entry devices or any other conduct that
impedes the integrity of the Sweepstakes is prohibited. Any individual who attempts to enter using false
contact information or who uses any unauthorized device or artifice to enter using a false identity, as
determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for late, lost,
incomplete, misdirected, stolen, postage-due, or damaged entries or for technical, hardware, software or
device malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete,
inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender or by any of the
equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes that may limit the ability to
participate, or by any human error that may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes or
other failures of any sort, fire, epidemic or pandemic, explosion, act of God, riot or civil disturbance, war,
terrorist threat or activity, any federal, state or local government law, or any other cause not reasonably
within Sweepstakes Entities’ control. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for printing errors in these
Official Rules.
4. RANDOM DRAWING.
Random Drawing. On or about March 5, 2023, twenty (20) potential Grand Prize winners will be selected
via random drawing by an independent judging organization, selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion,
from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Potential prize winners must meet
all eligibility requirements and comply with these Official Rules to qualify for the prize. The judging
organization’s decisions are final on all matters relating to the drawing.
Termination. If Sponsor cancels, terminates, modifies, or suspends this Sweepstakes for any reason
(including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud,
technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor that corrupts or affects
the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes), Sponsor will select
potential prize winners by random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect purchase entries received
during the Sweepstakes Period prior to termination and all eligible mail-in entries postmarked and
received by the deadlines set forth above, provided Sponsor is able to do so or as otherwise deemed fair
and appropriate by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If Sponsor does so, Sponsor will post notice of its action
at www.VZ3YearsSB.com.
5. PRIZES / ODDS OF WINNING.
Grand Prizes (20). Each grand prize is two tickets, one for winner and one for a guest, to attend the Super
Bowl for the three years from 2024 through 2026: Super Bowl LVIII (scheduled for February 10, 2024),
Super Bowl LIX (scheduled for February 9, 2025) and Super Bowl LX (scheduled for February 8, 2026).
Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize: Up to $6,500 per winner, per year. Total ARV of each
Grand Prize: Up to $19,500.
Total ARV of all prizes: Up to $390,000.
Tickets will be provided to winner each year prior to the corresponding game. Prize does not include any
travel or accommodations. Game tickets are subject to Terms and Conditions thereon. Seat assignments
are subject to change and will be designated in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Each winner’s guest (for each
game) will be required to complete and sign a Travel Companion Liability and Publicity Release in order
to accompany winner to the game each year. If the guest is a minor, winner must be guest’s parent or
legal guardian and must sign the Travel Companion Liability and Publicity Release on guest’s behalf.
Resale of game tickets is strictly prohibited. All NFL tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions as
specified thereon. Winners and guest must abide by all venue policies and regulations, including without
limitation all health and safety protocols, and ticket terms and conditions at all times. Sponsor reserves
the right to revoke the full or partial prize from any winner or guest who the Sponsor, venue personnel or
the NFL Entities (defined below) deem in any of their sole discretion, may be intoxicated, be a safety risk,
has violated any venue or NFL policy or law, fails to comply with the NFL’s (or its designee’s) health and
safety protocols, or brings the Sweepstakes Entities/NFL Entities into disrepute. For the avoidance of
doubt, unused tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, or applied toward tickets for any subsequent NFL
event or for cash.
All expenses and costs not expressly listed above, including, but not limited to, federal, state, or local
taxes on the value of the prize, airfare, rental cars, taxes, tips, meals, lodging, entertainment, and
transportation are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize is not transferable, assignable, or
redeemable for cash except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize details and availability are subject to
change, in which case Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Any portion of prize not
used by winner is forfeited and no cash substitute will be offered or permitted. If actual value of tickets is
less than what is stated in these Official Rules, the difference will not be awarded. Prize offered is provided
“as is” with no warranty or guarantee either express or implied by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for
loss, delay, or damage in delivery of prize. Properly claimed prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient
number of eligible entries are received but in no event will more prizes be awarded than are provided for
in these Official Rules. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
Odds. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes
Period.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION PROCESS.
Sponsor will attempt to notify potential prize winner via phone, email and/or overnight mail using
information provided with winning entry within five business days from the date of the drawing. Prize
winners must complete, sign, and return the Affidavit of Eligibility, Waiver of Liability and Publicity Release
and W-9 Forms within seven business days of receipt of prize notification (TN residents need not sign the
Publicity Release). The prize will be forfeited if: (i) the potential winner is not in compliance with these
Official Rules, including eligibility requirements; (ii) the prize notification or attempted notification is
returned as undeliverable; (iii) Sponsor does not receive timely response to prize notification; or (iv) a
potential winner declines the prize offered. If time permits, Sponsor may select an alternate potential
winner by random drawing from remaining eligible entries.
Winner will be issued an IRS 1099 Tax Form each year reflecting the fair market value of the prize for
that year; and winner agrees to fully cooperate with Sponsor relative to its reporting of prize award to
the Internal Revenue Service, including provision of his/her Social Security Number and an IRS Form W-
9 in conjunction therewith. Winners will be taxed on a yearly basis based on the actual face value of
each ticket.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS.
By accepting the prize, the winner grants to the Sweepstakes Entities the right to use winner’s name,
likeness, image, voice, hometown and biographical information for commercial purposes in advertising,
trade and promotional content, including on the internet or via wireless application protocol, without
further notice, compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. (TN residents need not so
consent.) Government employees who win a prize may be subject to ethics and gift rules of their
jurisdiction. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual from further participation in the
Sweepstakes if Sponsor concludes, in its sole discretion, that such person: (i) has attempted to tamper
with the entry process or other operation of the Sweepstakes; (ii) has disregarded or has attempted to
circumvent these Official Rules; (iii) has committed fraud or attempted to undermine the legitimate
operation of the Sweepstakes; or (iv) has acted toward any Sweepstakes Entity or any other entrant in an
unfair, inequitable, annoying, threatening, disrupting or harassing manner. Tampering includes
attempting to enter more than the number of times permitted herein, including through the use of any
prohibited device or method. If a dispute arises regarding compliance with these Official Rules, Sponsor
may consider, in its sole discretion, data reasonably available to Sponsor through information technology
systems in Sponsor’s control, but Sponsor will not be obligated to consider any data or other information
collected from any other source.
8. INDEMNIFICATION / LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, waive and hold harmless Sweepstakes
Entities, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, retailers, sales
representatives, distributors, and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors,
shareholders, employees and agents, from all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses of any
kind (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees) resulting from the entrants’ participation in this
Sweepstakes, the entrants’ acceptance, use or misuse of the prize or any element thereof, (including any
travel related thereto), including installation of the prize elements, and any travel or event-related activity
in connection with the Sweepstakes. Neither the failure of Sponsor to insist upon or enforce strict
performance of any provision of these Official Rules or the failure, delay, or omission by Sponsor in
exercising any right with respect to any term of these Official Rules, will be construed as a waiver or
relinquishment to any extent of Sponsor’s right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that
or any other instance. If there is a conflict between any term of these Official Rules and any entry or
marketing materials used in connection with this Sweepstakes, the terms of these Official Rules will
govern.
9. GOVERNING LAW.
ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND
ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR
SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES WILL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY, USA WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT
TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OF CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE
APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS.
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION.
By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that: (i) all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out
of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or prizes awarded, will be resolved individually, without resort to
any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court in New Jersey, to which the participant
submits to personal jurisdiction; (ii) all claims, judgments, and awards will be limited to actual out-of-
pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’
fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant
hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, and all rights to have
damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and any other damages except for actual out-of-pocket
expenses. Some jurisdictions do not allow for limitations on the ability to pursue class action remedies, or
certain kinds of damages, and so these limitations may not apply to you.
11. PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Any personal information supplied by you in connection with this Sweepstakes will be subject to Sponsor’s
privacy policy posted at https://www.verizon.com/about/privacy/full-privacy-policy. By participating in
the Sweepstakes, you authorize Sponsor to communicate with you by text message using your wireless
phone number provided in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes.
12. WINNERS LIST.
You may request the name of the winner by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope Verizon 3 Years
of Super Bowl Sweepstakes Winners List, PO Box 158, Freeburg, IL 62243. Requests must be received
within 60 days of the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
13. SPONSOR.
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Verizon Corporate Services Group Inc., One Verizon Way, Basking Ridge,
New Jersey 07920.
14. NFL ENTITIES.
“NFL Entities” means the National Football League (“NFL”), its thirty-two member professional football
clubs, including but not limited to, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Ventures, L.P., NFL Properties LLC, NFL
Enterprises LLC, NFL Productions LLC, NFL International LLC, and each of their respective owners, partners,
subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees
(individually and collectively, the “NFL Entities”). The NFL Entities will have no liability or responsibility
for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or the prize awarded.
The NFL Entities have not offered or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way. All NFL-related trademarks
are the property of the National Football League. All other trademarks used herein are the property of
their respective owners.
