1. SPONSOR: Verve Label Group , a division of UMG Recordings, Inc. (“Sponsor”) with its principal
offices at 1755 Broadway, 3rd
Floor, New York, NY 10019, is solely responsible for all aspects of this
sweepstakes.
2. ENTRY: The Decca Records US Classical Vinyl Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:00 A.M. on
November 1, 2022 and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. on December 31, 2022 (“Entry Period”). For purposes of
these official rules (“Rules”), all times and days are Eastern Time (“ET”). You may enter the by visiting
https://competition.umusic.com/decca-us-sweeps (“Website”) and following all onscreen instructions to
provide your email address, country and clicking “Submit”. After clicking “Submit,” you are officially
entered into the pool of eligible entries (“Entry”). Only (1) one Entry per person. At the end of the
Sweepstakes period, a potential winner will be chosen at random from all eligible Entries received
during the Entry Period.
3. LIMITATIONS: In event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry
will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email address is registered. Entries by
any method other than set forth above in Section 2 are void. Any use of automated or programmed
methods of effecting Entry is prohibited. Sweepstakes is open to any person who has reached the age of
18 or older in the state where s/he resides and who at time of entry is a legal resident of the fifty (50)
United States or the District of Columbia (each an “Entrant”). Residents of any territory not mentioned
herein shall not be eligible to enter or win. Employees of the Sponsor and their respective parent
company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other individual or
company involved in the development or execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively the “Entities”) and
their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to
enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, territorial, and local laws and regulations.
Neither the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or
representatives (individually and collectively, “Releasees”) are responsible for Entries from persons
residing, or physically located, outside the Territory; Entries that are altered, delayed, deleted,
destroyed, forged, fraudulent, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, irregular in any
way, late, lost, misdirected, multiple, non-delivered, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized, unintelligible
or otherwise not in compliance with these Rules; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite,
network, server, Internet Service Provider, Website or other connections; telephone or cell phone
availability or accessibility; miscommunications; failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable
transmissions, lines or technical failure; jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed or misdirected
transmissions; computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, technical errors or difficulties;
unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; undeliverable emails resulting from any form of
active or passive email filtering; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or
human error or other causes; even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such
potential Entries will be disqualified and any attempt by a person to use multiple email or Service
Provider accounts to register more than once may result in disqualification at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
4. PRIZE: One (1) prize (“Prize”) will be awarded. One (1) Prize winner will receive one (1) Decca

Total ARV of Prize: $2,559.00. All taxes, gratuities, incidentals, upgrades, service charges or other
expenses not specified herein are not included and are each Prize winner’s sole responsibility. Certain
restrictions may apply. Limit: One (1) prize per person or household. If actual value of any prize is lower
than the stated ARV when Prize is procured and fulfilled, then the difference will not be awarded. No
substitution of any prize offered, no transfer of any prize to a third party is permitted and Prizes may not
be redeemed for cash value, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute
any prize or portion of Prize for a Prize of comparable or greater value. All fees, federal, state, local or
other expenses relating to the use, acceptance and possession of any prize are the sole responsibility of
each winner. Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winner. Arrangements for the fulfillment of any
prize will be made by Sponsor and/or its designated agent. Allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for delivery.
Prizes are awarded “AS IS”. No warranties expressed or implied outside of any standard manufacturer’s
warranties.
5. PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of Prize constitute permission for
Sponsor and its agents to use winner’s name, prize won, story, hometown, likeness, photograph(s), and
statements for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all
media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation,
notification or permission.
6. ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Entry
Period.
7. WINNER SELECTION & WINNER NOTIFICATION PROCESS: Prize winner will be selected at random by
Sponsor. Random Drawing will be conducted within forty-eight (48) hours after Entry Period ends. An
email prize notification will be sent to potential winner within forty-eight (48) hours of random drawing
based on the information provided by Entrant upon Entry. Winner will be required to execute and
return an Affidavit of Eligibility / Liability / Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”) and w9 as determined
by the Sponsor or Sponsor’s agent (unless prohibited by law) within forty-eight (48) hours of date/time
specified on the prize notification or he/she will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be
selected. If winner fails to respond to the prize notification sent to them by email within forty-eight (48)
hours of transmission, or if prize notification email is returned as undeliverable; or if potential winner
has failed to execute and return the Affidavit/Release, w9 or fails to return any other required
document within the specified time period; or if potential winner is otherwise found to be ineligible; or
if a potential winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason; or if any Prize is returned
undeliverable, the potential winner will forfeit all rights to prize and an alternate winner may or may
not be selected (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) from all non-winning eligible Entries. The Sponsor reserves
the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of an alternate winner, if
any. Should winner be found to have made any false statement(s) in the Affidavit/Release or any
required document, that winner will be disqualified, and no prize shall be awarded to that Entrant.
Except where prohibited by law in the territory stated in these Rules, entry and acceptance of a Prize
constitutes permission for Sponsor and/or any third party associated with the Sweepstakes to use
winner’s first name, last name initial and country for fulling any winner’s list requirements as required
by U.S. promotion law.
8. PRIVACY POLICY/DATA COLLECTION: Information provided by you for this Sweepstakes is subject to
Sponsor’s privacy policy located at: http://privacypolicy.umusic.com/ (“Privacy Policy”).
9. CONDITIONS: By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree represent and warrant that: [1] you will be
bound by the Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which shall be final in all respects; [2] you release and
hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liability for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind,
including without limitation, death and bodily injury, resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly,
from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of any Prize;
participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity or from any interaction with, or
downloading of, computer Sweepstakes information; [3] in the event viruses, bugs, unauthorized human
intervention, Acts of God, pandemic, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national
authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of
terrorism or other matters beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the
administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, so that it cannot be conducted as
originally planned, Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend
the Sweepstakes; and in such event, to select winner by such method as Sponsor in its sole discretion
shall consider equitable; [4] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the
offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to: errors in the advertising, Rules,
selection and announcement of a winner and distribution of the Prizes; [5] the Releasees are not
responsible for any inability of a winner to accept or use any Prize (or any portion thereof) for any
reason; [6] the Sponsor has the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it
suspects to be doing any of the following: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process
or the operation of the Sweepstakes; (b) violating the Rules; (c) violating the Website terms of service,
Privacy Policy or other terms, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any Sweepstakes
property or service or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy,
abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or for any other good cause as determined solely by the
Sponsor; [7] all disputes, claims and causes of action at law or in equity (individually, “Claim”) arising out
of or relating to this Sweepstakes, the meaning or interpretation of the Rules or any Prize awarded shall
be resolved by applying the laws of the state of New York, without regard to conflict of laws provisions
therein, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in the state or federal courts within that state; [8]
Sponsor has the right to modify Prize award procedures at its sole discretion and [9] you are solely
responsible for all fees incurred through your wireless phone service for text messages associated with
participation in this Sweepstakes, if any.
By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant from the United States waives and relinquishes all
rights and benefits afforded by California Civil Code 1542 and does so understanding and acknowledging
the significance of this waiver. Section 1542 states as follows: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND
TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DID NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR
HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN, BY HIM OR HER, WOULD
HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR THE RELEASED PARTIES.”
10. RULES & WINNER LIST: For the name of the winner (after January 7, 2022) and/or Rules (before
December 31, 2022), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Decca Records US Classical Vinyl
Giveaway (indicating which) c/o Verve Label Group, 1755 Broadway, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10019.
Washington and Vermont residents may omit return postage.
