COMBINE INGREDIENTS IN A BLENDER. ADD ICE AND BLEND. POUR INTO GLASS AND GARNISH WITH INSTANT COFFEE GRANULES (OPTIONAL). THROWN TOGETHER AND BLENDED UNTIL IT’S SMOOTH. GARNISHED WITH COFFEE GROUNDS AND A SMILE AS YOU SIP.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 CUP PROPER NO. TWELVE WHISKEY
1/2 TSP GROUND BLACK PEPPER
1 TBSP GARLIC POWDER
1 TBSP ONION POWDER
1/2 TBSP SALT
3 CUPS KETCHUP
1/3 CUP CIDER VINEGAR
1/4 CUP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1/2 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1/3 TSP HOT SAUCE
DIRECTIONS
COMBINE INGREDIENTS IN A SAUCE POT AND BRING TO A BOIL. LET SIMMER FOR 20 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND COOL BEFORE SERVING.
PROPER PEPPERCORN STEAK SAUCE

INGREDIENTS
1 TBSP CRACKED BLACK PEPPERCORNS
1 SMALL SHALLOT, FINELY CHOPPED
1 LARGE CLOVE OF GARLIC, MINCED
3 TBSP BUTTER
2 TBSP PROPER NO. TWELVE IRISH WHISKEY
3/4 CUP BEEF BROTH
1/2 CUP HEAVY CREAM
WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE (OPTIONAL)
DIRECTIONS
COOK STEAK TO YOUR LIKING, THEN REMOVE AND COVER WHILE YOU MAKE THE SAUCE.
ADD PEPPERCORNS TO THE SAME PAN USED TO COOK THE STEAK AND HEAT FOR 1-2 MIN.
ADD SHALLOTS, GARLIC AND 1 TBSP BUTTER. SAUTÉ OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL SHALLOTS SOFTEN.
ADD PROPER NO. TWELVE WHISKEY AND BRING TO A SIMMER FOR 1-2 MINUTES. DEGLAZE THE PAN BY STIRRING WITH A WOODEN SPOON, INCORPORATING ANY REMAINING BITS FROM THE STEAK.
ADD THE BEEF STOCK AND BRING TO HIGH HEAT. REDUCE THE SAUCE BY HALF (4-5 MINUTES).
MIX IN HEAVY CREAM AND SIMMER FOR 1-2 MINUTES, STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY.
REMOVE FROM HEAT, ADD REMAINING BUTTER AND WHISK FOR 1-2 MINUTES. SALT TO TASTE. OPTIONAL: ADD ANY JUICE FROM RESTING STEAK AND A DASH OF WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE.
POUR OVER STEAKS AND SERVE. PAIRS BEST WITH A PROPER ON THE ROCKS!

INGREDIENTS
12 STRIPS OF BACON
1 CUP PROPER NO. TWELVE
1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1/2 TEASPOON CAYENNE PEPPER
DIRECTIONS
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350F
IN A SAUCEPAN, COMBINE PROPER NO. TWELVE, 3/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR AND CAYENNE IN A SAUCEPAN. BRING TO A BOIL, THEN REDUCE TO A SIMMER. AFTER 10 MINUTES, REMOVE FROM HEAT.
PLACE BACON STRIPS ON A BAKING SHEET. BRUSH THE PROPER NO. TWELVE REDUCTION ONTO EACH STRIP AND THEN SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING 1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR.
COOK BACON FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL DESIRED CRISPINESS.
WHEN BACON IS DONE, ALLOW TO COOL ON PAPER TOWELS BEFORE ENJOYING.
PROPER SLOW COOKED RIBS
INGREDIENTS
2 CUPS PROPER NO. TWELVE BARBECUE SAUCE
2 TBSP BROWN SUGAR
3 TBSP FINELY CHOPPED GARLIC
2 TSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1 TBSP CAYENNE PEPPER (TO TASTE FOR SPICE)
4 POUNDS BABY BACK RIBS
SALT & PEPPER
DIRECTIONS
USE COOKING SPRAY OR OIL TO PREP THE INSIDE OF YOUR SLOW COOKER.
REMOVE THE MEMBRANE FROM RIBS AND THEN PLACE THE RACK OF RIBS IN SLOW COOKER.
COMBINE PROPER NO. TWELVE BARBECUE SAUCE, BROWN SUGAR, GARLIC, WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE AND CAYENNE PEPPER IN A BOWL.
USE HALF OF THE SAUCE MIXTURE TO COMPLETELY COVER THE RIBS, STORING THE REMAINING SAUCE IN THE FRIDGE. SEASON WITH SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE.
COVER THE SLOW COOKER WITH LID AND COOK ON LOW FOR UP TO 9 HOURS OR HIGH FOR UP TO 5 HOURS, DEPENDING ON YOUR COOKING PREFERENCE (LONGER COOK TIME = MORE TENDER).
WHEN RIBS ARE COOKED TO DESIRED TENDERNESS, CAREFULLY TRANSFER THEM ONTO A BAKING SHEET LINED WITH PARCHMENT PAPER.
COMBINE HALF OF THE JUICE FROM THE SLOW COOKER WITH THE REMAINING SAUCE. BASTE THE RIBS WITH HALF OF THIS SAUCE MIXTURE AND BROIL OR GRILL THE RIBS UNTIL THEY BEGIN TO CRISP (ABOUT 10 MINUTE).
USE THE REMAINING SAUCE TO SERVE WITH THE RIBS. ENJOY!
PROPER WHISKEY-HONEY PULLED PORK
INGREDIENTS
2/3 CUP PROPER NO. TWELVE IRISH WHISKEY
1/3 CUP HONEY
1/2 CUP APPLE CIDER
1 CUP BROTH (BEEF OR BROTH OF CHOICE)
1 TBSP PAPRIKA
1 TBSP GARLIC POWDER
1 TBSP SALT
2 TSP BLACK PEPPER
1 HONEY CRISP APPLE, SLICED
1 SMALL YELLOW ONION, SLICED
DIRECTIONS
COMBINE DRY INGREDIENTS (PAPRIKA, GARLIC POWDER, SALT, PEPPER) IN A BOWL AND RUB INTO THE PORK ROAST.
IN A SEPARATE BOWL, ADD WET INGREDIENTS (PROPER NO. TWELVE IRISH WHISKEY, HONEY, APPLE CIDER, BROTH) AND WHISK TO COMBINE. POUR THIS MIXTURE INTO THE SLOW COOKER.
PLACE THE PORK ROAST IN THE SLOW COOKER, ENSURING TO NOT TO WASH OFF THE SPICE RUB.
COVER PORK ROAST WITH APPLE AND ONION SLICES, THE COVER COOKER WITH LID. COOK ON LOW FOR ABOUT 6 HOURS.
ONCE FULLY COOKED, SHRED THE PORK ROAST IN THE SLOW COOKER WITH TWO FORKS, THEN COVER AND COOK FOR AN ADDITIONAL 1 HOUR TO SOAK UP THE REMAINING LIQUID.
SERVE ON ITS OWN OR WITH PROPER NO. TWELVE BARBEQUE SAUCE.
PROPER WHISKEY MAPLE-HERBED CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS
3 LARGE CHICKEN BREASTS
1/4 CUP PROPER NO. TWELVE IRISH WHISKEY
1/2 CUP PURE MAPLE SYRUP
1/4 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
1/4 CUP FLOUR
2 TSP DRIED PARSLEY
1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
1 TSP ONION POWDER
1/2 TSP CAYENNE PEPPER
1/2 TSP PEPPER
1/2 TSP SALT
DIRECTIONS
PAT DOWN CHICKEN BREASTS WITH PAPER TOWELS AND CUT INTO CHUNKS. SET ASIDE.
IN A LARGE BOWL, ADD ALL DRY INGREDIENTS (FLOUR, DRIED PARSLEY, GARLIC POWDER, ONION POWDER, CAYENNE PEPPER, SALT, PEPPER) AND STIR TO COMBINE.
ADD THE CHICKEN CHUNKS TO THE FLOUR MIXTURE AND TOSS, COATING THE CHICKEN EVENLY.
IN A LARGE SAUCE PAN, ADD MAPLE SYRUP AND PROPER NO. TWELVE WHISKEY AND SET TO A LOW FLAME.
IN ANOTHER LARGE SKILLET, HEAT OIL ON HIGH UNTIL HOT (SIZZLING, NOT SMOKING) AND CAREFULLY ADD CHICKEN IN AN EVEN LAYER TO COVER THE PAN.
COOK FOR 3-4 MINUTES OR UNTIL EDGES START TO BROWN. FLIP CHICKEN PIECES OVER AND COOK THE OTHER SIDE FOR ANOTHER 3-4 MINUTES.
ADD COOKED CHICKEN TO THE MAPLE WHISKEY COMBINATION AND STIR TO COMBINE OVER HEAT. ONCE WELL COATED, REMOVE FROM STOVE.
SERVE OVER RICE OR WITH YOUR SIDES OF CHOICE.
