Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by AlphaTheta Music Americas, Inc. (“Pioneer DJ”), located at 2050 W. 190th Street Suite 109, Torrance, California 90504. 2. Eligibility: Open to legal U.S. or D.C. residents 18 years of age or older, except for Rhode Island residents. Also open to legal Canadian or Québécois residents 18 years of age or older. Entries must be received through the above entry form starting at 10:00AM Pacific Daylight Time on Wednesday, July 22nd 2020, and ending at 1:00PM Pacific Daylight Time on Friday, August 28th, 2020 (“Submission Period”). No responsibility is accepted for entries not received through the entry form on Gleam.IO by the due date. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple accounts, email accounts, or using any other device or artifice to enter multiple times will be disqualified. Winner Selection: On August 28th, 2020, once the Submission Period is over, Pioneer DJ will randomly select the winners and contact the winners. Once the winners have been confirmed, the winners will be posted on Pioneer DJs Facebook page. Pioneer DJ’s decision will be final. If the potential winners choose not to accept the prize or execute a W-9 and affidavit of eligibility and release, or do not respond to three separate attempts to reach the potential winners, other randomly selected entries will be selected as the winners until all prizes have a winner. Pioneer DJ is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the potential winner. You expressly waive Section 1542 of the California Civil Code, which provides that: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.” 7. Taxes and Documentation: All federal, state, and local taxes on the monetary value of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. A 1099 tax statement will be filed with the IRS and the winner will be required to sign a W-9 form and an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize. 8. Dispute resolution: These Official Rules and this Sweepstakes are governed and controlled by the laws of the State of California applicable to contracts made and performed in California but without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions. All actions, proceedings or litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of California, Los Angeles County.
