These are the Official Rules for Northeast Credit Union’s (“NORTHEAST CU”) ‘$8,000 FOR YOUR DREAM VACATION’ (“Sweepstakes”).
NO PURCHASE, ACCOUNT OPENING OR LOAN CLOSING NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, ACCOUNT OPENING OR LOAN CLOSING WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
The following promotion is intended for viewing in the United States and D.C. only (including territories, possessions, and commonwealths) and will be construed and evaluated according to United States laws.
The NORTHEAST CU ‘$8,000 FOR YOUR DREAM VACATION’ “Sweepstakes” offers a chance for eligible entrants to win ONE (1) Grand Prize of $8,000 toward a vacation at the culmination of the Promotion.

Terms and Conditions – Note that by entering this Sweepstakes, you are agreeing to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
Sponsor – The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Northeast Credit Union, 100 Borthwick Avenue, Portsmouth, New Hampshire 03801.
Eligibility – The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, who, at the time of entering the Sweepstakes are EIGHTEEN (18) years of age or older. All entrants must be natural persons. No entries from business entities accepted. Employees of NORTHEAST CU, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in same household are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Immediate family includes spouse, parents, siblings, children, stepparents, stepchildren, grandparents and grandchildren.
Sweepstakes Period- Sweepstakes begins on April 1, 2022 at 12:00AM Eastern Standard Time and ends June 30, 2022 at 12:00AM Eastern Standard Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
How to Enter – There are TWO (2) Methods of Entry into the Sweepstakes Promotional Period:

Automatic Entry. You will automatically receive ONE (1) Sweepstakes Entry for each qualified and approved Northeast Credit Union Consumer Loan of $5,000 or greater closed during the Sweepstakes period. For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, a “closed loan” refers to a loan that has been approved and funded during the Promotional Period. Note: Northeast CU Visa® Credit Cards and Home Equity Lines of Credit do not qualify. In the event of a dispute as to whose name the automatic entry made, such entry will be deemed to be submitted by the primary person on the loan (whomever is listed first on the application). The following loan types qualify for automatic entry when the loan is $5,000 or greater:

Any Consumer Loan, $5,000 or greater, that is refinanced with Northeast Credit Union from another Financial Institution or lender other than Northeast Credit Union.

Alternate Means of Entry. To Enter $8,000 Dream Vacation Sweepstakes only by submitting the online entry form. Completed entries must be submitted and received before 11:59:59PM EST on June 30, 2022. There is a limit of ONE (1) entry per person/email address.

Regardless of method of entry, there is a limit of ONE (1) entry per person/email address. Entries will be disqualified if they are late, incomplete and/or in excess of any stated entry limit. Sponsor’s computer will be the official time clock for the Sweepstakes. The use of any device or technique to automate participation in this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to, participation using any bot, macro, script, hack, on-line sweepstakes service or form-filling software (or any other devices or techniques intended to automate any part of participation in the Sweepstakes) is prohibited. Participation by any means which subvert the participation process as described herein will be void. Entries are void if unreadable, inaccurate, incomplete, mutilated, tampered with, forged, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. If Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines that any participant has used any device or technique to automate or subvert the participation process or participation limits, all participation by that participant will be void and future participation attempts by the participant at issue may be blocked. All submitted information becomes property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Any acknowledgment of receipt of entry does not constitute any representation as to eligibility, selection as a potential prize winner, or is it otherwise binding upon the Promotion Parties in any respect. Proof of submission of entry does not constitute proof of receipt of entry. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the entrant associated with any entry, the authorized account holder of the email account or phone number associated with the applicable Sweepstakes registration, at time of submission, will be deemed to be the entrant, as applicable. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned to the applicable email account by the email service provider, or to the applicable phone number by the applicable telephone service provider. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the person who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible. Entrants are solely responsible for internet access and usage charges incurred during participation in the Sweepstakes, if any. Note that free internet access is available at most public libraries. If you opt to use a wireless mobile device to submit an entry, data rates and other charges may apply; check with your mobile carrier for rates/details.

Random Drawing |Prize | Odds of Winning – Winner will be randomly selected by Sponsor to determine the Grand Prize Winner from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, on or about July 30, 2022. The winner will be notified in person, by email or by phone. ONE (1) Grand Prize of $8,000.00 will be awarded to ONE (1) winner in the form of a check or direct deposit into their NORTHEAST CU Account, if they so choose, once they have completed the necessary documents (see notification section for details). While it is the Sponsor’s intention that the winner use the prize monies to pay for a dream vacation, the prize will be issued without restrictions. Winner need not be present. All eligible entries have an equal chance of winning. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. No prize transfer. No prize substitution except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, safety or security considerations, or any other reason as solely determined by Sponsor in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded.
Winner Notification – The Grand Prize Winner will be notified on or about July 30, 2022 in person, via email or by phone of the Primary Account Holder information on file at NORTHEAST CU or via online submission form. The Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability Waiver and a Publicity Release (“Declaration”) which must be received by Sponsor, within FIVE (5) business days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim their prize. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the Declaration or provide any other requested information within the required time period), he/she forfeits the prize. Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. The $8,000 Grand Prize will be deposited into the Primary Account Holder’s account as designated by the winner or presented by check. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only THREE (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded.
Taxes – Prize is considered taxable income, and winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. Winner(s) may receive appropriate tax forms reflecting the amount they receive as a prize.
General Conditions – Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for all the prize offered herein. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Release and Hold Harmless – By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless NORTHEAST CU, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliated entities, and each of their directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, and representatives from any damage, injury, expense, cost, death, loss, claim, action, demand, or other liability that may arise in connection with the Sweepstakes, or resulting from acceptance and/or use of any prize, travel to or from any prize-related activity, participation in this Sweepstakes, and from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, and/or property damage.
Publicity – Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
Entrant’s Personal Information – Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy which can be found at NECU.org/disclosures.
Applicable Law – Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes will be determined according to the laws of the State of New Hampshire and Maine, without reference to its conflict of laws principles, and by entering the Sweepstakes, you fully consent to the personal jurisdiction of the State and Federal Courts located in Rockingham County, New Hampshire and agree that such courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
