3) HOW TO ENTER.
There is no purchase necessary and no fee to register. Register for the game via the Game website at https://fantasygames.nascar.com/playoffs (the “Website”) and follow the instructions to register for the Game. You must create or log in to an existing NASCAR.com account in order to register for the Game. Limit one (1) registration/authorized account per person/e-mail address..
During the Registration Period, log in to your NASCAR.com account and then either click on the “Create an Entry” link, begin selecting a driver to advance, or click on the “Entries” tab and “Create New Entry” to begin. You will be prompted to create an Entry Name and agree to these Official Rules before your Entry is complete. Once your entry is created, fill out the first section of your Playoffs Grid Round of 16 by selecting the twelve (12) drivers out of the field of sixteen (16) drivers you believe will advance from Round of 16 to Round of 12. List the drivers in the order you believe they will be positioned in Round of 12. Once you have selected the twelve (12) NASCAR Cup Series™ drivers you believe will make it through, click “Save” on your Playoffs Grid thereby entering it into the Game. To add additional Entries, visit the Entries tab at the top of the page and click on Create New Entry. Limit three (3) Entries per person/e-mail address/authorized account. You may log in to your account and submit changes to your initial Playoffs Grid at any time prior to 6:00 p.m. ET on September 4, 2022. Any changes to your Playoffs Grid submitted for a current round after that round closes will not be considered for that round. Additional or new entries can be created at any time during the registration window, subject to the three-entry limit, however selections are only accepted during the stated round open windows. You will have the opportunity to submit selections for the following round once it opens. All Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of registration/entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) who is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any participant who attempts to create additional accounts using multiple email addresses or under multiple identities, or uses any other device to enter more than three (3) Entries into the Game will be disqualified as determined by the Operator in its sole discretion. False or deceptive Entries or acts will render all of that participant’s Entries ineligible in Operator’s sole discretion.

The Championship Round™ will open within 12 hours of release of the Official Race Results following the Martinsville race, on Sunday, October 30, 2022. You must log in, click on the Game link, select the driver you believe will be the Playoffs Champion, and submit your Playoffs Grid before 3:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
If the first race in a Round does not start and gets postponed to a different date, Operator may choose to extend the deadline for submitting Playoffs Grids for that Round, in its sole discretion. In that case, the new closing date/time will be posted on the Game home page.
You may log in to your account and submit changes to your Playoffs Grid at any time during the open period prior to the deadline for submission for each Round. The status of your Playoffs Grid at the submission deadline for each Round will be your entry for that Round.
For each Round, you will be selecting drivers from the actual list of drivers in each stage, regardless of whether or not you had previously selected those drivers to advance in your Playoffs Grid.
If you fail to submit your Playoffs Grid in any of these additional Rounds in the Game, you will not receive any points for that Round, but you may continue to play in subsequent Rounds.
5) CREATING AND JOINING LEAGUES.
After you submit your initial Playoffs Grid in the Round of 16, you will have the opportunity to create or join a league. Follow the onscreen instructions depending on your choice to create a new league or join an existing league. If you choose to create a league, you will be given the opportunity to name the league and to make it public or private. Anyone may join a public league. League maximum is 500 participants. You must have the applicable password to join a private league. Creating or joining a league is not required for playing the Game and does not impact prize eligibility. League play is for entertainment purposes only, there are no prizes for winning a League.
6) SCORING.
Participants will receive points following the final race in each Round throughout each Round of the Game based on Playoffs standings after each Round, as determined by NASCAR Timing and Scoring.
Participants will receive ten (10) points for each driver selected that advances in the Playoffs grid for each round except the Championship Round™. For the Championship Round™ the correct driver chosen as the final Champion driver from the Championship race will receive 40 points.
Drivers that have been picked in the exact ranking order of the Playoffs standings following the conclusion of a Round will receive five (5) bonus points, and one (1) point for each driver that was one spot before or after the exact ranking, with the exception of the Championship Round™. For the Championship Round™, no position bonus points will be awarded, only the 40 points for the correct pick.
For example, if you select Driver A to advance to Round of 8 in the 5th position, and he is ranked 5th after the round, you would receive 15 points (10 points for advancing plus 5 points for the exact ranking position). If Driver A advanced, but in the 4th or 6th position, you would receive 11 points (10 points for advancing plus 1 point for being one slot away from the exact ranking). If Driver A advanced, but more than one ranking position away from your pick, you would earn 10 points for that pick.
A perfect Playoffs Grid can earn a maximum 400 points.
The points and bonus points for all four rounds in a single Entry will then be added together to determine the First, Second, and Third Place Prize winners for the Game.
7) HOW TO WIN.
FIRST PLACE PRIZE: One (1) First Place Prize will be awarded to the eligible participant who has the largest sum of total points in a single Entry at the conclusion of the Game, as determined by Game rules. If there is a tie for the First Place Prize Winner position, then the tied participant who selected the correct Playoffs Champion in the Championship Round will be the First Place Prize Winner. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant with the highest number of points in the Round of 8 will win. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant with the highest number of points in the Round of 12 will win, and so forth, until a First Place Prize Winner is selected. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant who submitted their pick the earliest for the Championship Round as logged by the NASCAR.com Game server will be the winner. The First Place Prize Winner will be determined on or about November 8, 2022. The First Place Prize winner is determined based on skill by earning the highest number of points for the Game in a single Entry from among eligible participants.
SECOND PLACE PRIZE: One (1) Second Place Prize will be awarded to the eligible participant who has the second largest sum of total points in a single Entry at the conclusion of the Game, as determined by Game rules, OR is tied for the largest sum, but is not deemed the First Place Prize winner due to tie-break procedures. If there is a tie for the Second Place Prize Winner position, then the tied participant who selected the correct Playoffs Champion in the Championship Round will be the Second Place Prize Winner. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant with the highest number of points in the Round of 8 will win. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant with the highest number of points in the Round of 12 will win, and so forth, until a Second Place Prize Winner is selected. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant who submitted their pick the earliest for the Championship Round as logged by the NASCAR.com Game server will be the winner. The Second Place Prize Winner will be determined on or about November 8, 2022. The Second Place Prize winner is determined based on skill by earning the second highest number of points for the Game in a single entry from among eligible participants.
THIRD PLACE PRIZE: One (1) Third Place Prize will be awarded to the eligible participant who has the third largest sum of total points in a single Entry at the conclusion of the Game, as determined by Game rules, OR is tied with three or more participants for the largest sum, but is not deemed the First Place Prize winner or the Second Place Prize winner, BUT IS deemed the Third Place Prize Winner due to tie-break procedures. If there is a tie for the Third Place Prize Winner position, then the tied participant who selected the correct Playoffs Champion in the Championship Round will be the Third Place Prize Winner. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant with the highest number of points in the Round of 8 will win. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant with the highest number of points in the Round of 12 will win, and so forth, until a Third Place Prize Winner is selected. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant who submitted their pick the earliest for the Championship Round as logged by the NASCAR.com Game server will be the winner. The Third Place Prize Winner will be determined on or about November 8, 2022. The Third Place Prize winner is determined based on skill by earning the third highest number of points for the Game in a single Entry from among eligible participants.
LEADERBOARD AND RANKINGS: The online Leaderboard and rankings will reflect the scores of all participants in the Game, not all of whom may be eligible to win Prizes. Therefore, the players listed at the top of the Leaderboard will not necessarily be the winners of the Game. Operator’s decisions regarding eligibility and qualification of participants as winners in the Game are final and binding.
ENTRY CREATION AND SUBMISSION Entries may be created at any time throughout The Playoffs. Entries created after the initial round might not be able to accumulate enough points to contend for prizes, but certainly remain eligible for prizes, to the extent the Entry is otherwise eligible.
8) NOTIFICATION AND CONFIRMATION.
First Place Prize Winner, Second Place Prize Winner, and Third Place Prize Winner are, collectively, the “Winners.” Prize Fulfillment Administrator will notify potential First Place Prize Winner by e-mail at the e-mail address provided in the Game registration within three (3) business days following determination of the potential Winners. Potential Second and Third Place Prize Winners will be notified by e-mail within three business days following confirmation of the immediately preceding winner. Potential Winners, or their parent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor in his or her jurisdiction of residence, must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release and an IRS W-9 form within seven (7) days of receipt to claim the prize. If an e-mail notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner does not respond to the notification within the timeframe, or if a potential winner does not return the signed documentation to claim the prize within the designated time period, or if a potential winner is determined to be ineligible, or not to be in compliance with these Official Rules, then such potential winner will be disqualified, the prize forfeited, and an alternate winner determined and notified in accordance with these Official Rules. Sponsor and Prize Fulfillment Administrator are not responsible for an e-mail notification being sent to a spam folder or otherwise not being received by a potential winner for any reason. Participants are solely responsible for checking their e-mails and spam folders for notifications, which will come from a >csm.com< e-mail address. In the event of disqualification of a potential Prize winner during the confirmation process, the alternate winner will be the player with the next highest total number of points for a single Entry at the conclusion of the Game, as discussed above. Sponsor will first confirm First Place Prize winner, allowing for possible replacement by the participant with the next highest point total in the Game and then repeat the process for the Second Place Prize Winner and Third Place Prize Winner. If Prize Fulfillment Administrator is not able to award a prize to a confirmed winner after three attempts, that prize may remain unawarded, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
