1. TIMING
Promotion begins on April 22, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. ET and ends on May 24, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. ET .

2. ELIGIBILITY
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Stay Amazing Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who, as of date of entry, are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their respective states/jurisdictions of permanent residence, whichever is greater.

3. SPONSOR
The Sponsor is Marriott International, Inc., 10400 Fernwood Road, Bethesda, MD 20817 USA. The Administrator is Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., 100 Marcus Drive, Melville, NY 11747 USA.

4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, visit https://stayamazingcontest.dja.com (the “Website”) and complete all required fields of the onscreen registration form including your name and email address, and upload your original photo depicting an amazing person in your life (or an object that represents him/her) and your photo caption on how this person helps you in 199 words or less to receive one (1) entry into that week’s random drawing (as defined below) and one (1) entry into the Grand Prize winner determination. The Administrator will automatically add the hashtag #StayAmazingContest to your entry. As the entrant you will herein be referred to as the “Nominator” or “entrant”. The person the Nominator is describing in his/her entry will herein be referred to as the “Nominee”. Nominee must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) or Canada (excluding Quebec), thirteen (13) years of age or older and Nominator must personally know Nominee. Nominators cannot nominate themselves as their Nominee. Nominators can nominate one (1) Nominee per entry.

FOR CANADIAN NOMINEES – When providing a Nominee’s email address or an email address to send an e-card, you may only provide the names and email addresses of Canadian residents if you have a family or personal relationship with them. By providing their names and email addresses, you are confirming that you have such a family or personal relationship (or you are confirming that you are not providing any Canadian residents’ names and email addresses). A “family relationship” means that you are related to the other individual through a marriage, a common law partnership, or any legal parent-child relationship and have engaged in direct, voluntary, two-way communication with that individual. A “personal relationship” means that you engage or have engaged in direct, voluntary, two-way communications with the other individual and it would be reasonable to conclude you have a personal relationship, taking into consideration any relevant factors such as the sharing of interests, experiences, opinions and information evidenced in the communications, the frequency of communication, the length of time since you have communicated or whether you have met in person. No information regarding entries, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules, will be disclosed. Entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address per day. For the purposes of this Promotion, a “day” is defined as beginning at 12:00 a.m. ET each calendar day and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET the same calendar day, with the exception of the first day, which will begin on April 22, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. ET and end on April 23, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. ET. For the purposes of this Promotion, a “week” is defined as beginning at 12:00 a.m. ET each Thursday and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET each Wednesday, with the exception of the first week, which will begin on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. ET and end on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. ET, and the last week, which will begin on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 12:00 a.m. ET and end on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Entries will not be carried forward to subsequent Weekly Prize random drawings, if any. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void such entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated or computer system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service may apply. Incomplete, corrupted, or untimely entries are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen or misdirected entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Tumblr account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant or participant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winning Nominators may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win.

Entries must be unique. Photo entries must be in a format that can be uploaded to the Website. Photos must be less than 20mb and in one of the following formats: .jpg, .png, .bmp, or .gif. All entries must comply with the “Entry Requirements” set forth below.

Entry Requirements:
a. Entry captions must be in 199 words or less and must be in English.
b. Entry may feature additional people (other than the Nominee) in photo. If so, please make them aware that you are submitting their image in this Promotion and that they agree to the submission of their image. If an additional person is a minor is his/her state of primary residence, Nominator must be parent or legal guardian of minor depicted. If photo features additional people, they (or entrant as parent or legal guardian) may be required to sign a Release Form, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
c. Entry must be your original idea (modification of an original work is not an original idea). Entries must not copy or otherwise plagiarize from any source.
d. The entry must not have been submitted previously in a giveaway or promotion of any kind or previously exhibited or displayed publicly (i.e., disclosed beyond your immediate circle of friends and family) through any means.
e. The entry must not contain content that is known by you to be false, inaccurate or misleading.
f. Any entry deemed inappropriate or unsuitable, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified. Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent (including, but not limited to, nudity, or pornography), profane, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libelous (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group), violent, self-mutilating (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), or illegal (e.g., underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.).
g. The entry must not contain or depict material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination, including without limitation, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. The entry must not contain or depict material that is threatening to any person, place, business, group, or world peace or contain words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group.
h. The entry must not contain any content that infringes or may infringe third party rights, including, without limitation, any copyright, name, trademark, logo, trade dress, or other personal or proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity or make reference to any commercial/corporate advertising (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, charities, slogans, political, or religious statements), or be otherwise objectionable. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, publicly displayed and publicly accessible Sponsor content, materials, or products are permitted to be displayed in entries submitted for this Promotion.
i. Any clothing shown in the photo should not contain any visible logos, drawings, cartoons, phrases, trademarks or other third-party content or materials (but showing publicly displayed or publicly accessible Sponsor content, material, and products as described above is permitted).
j. The entry must not include any representation of celebrities, athletes, musicians, or any other third-party (public or private), include any anti-social, political or religious groups, any commercial solicitation or promotional materials or name, address, phone number, or URL address. Entries must not contain advertisements, personal solicitations or commercial solicitations.
k. Photos may not be owned, taken or edited by a professional photographer.
l. The entry must not contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, bots, spyware or any other computer code that is intended to damage, interfere with, or surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or information.
m. Entrants and all submitted entries must be in keeping with Sponsor’s image as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, or entry will be disqualified from the Promotion. The entry must not disparage persons or organizations associated with Sponsor.
n. Entries must not reference any of Sponsor’s competitors.

Each entrant grants to Sponsor a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to copy, distribute, and display each submitted entry, in any media, and with right to use, copy, modify, edit, and create derivative works therefrom, and agrees to execute documents confirming such right and license at Sponsor’s reasonable request. By entering, you understand that your entry will be screened by the Sponsor and may be posted online to the gallery as a Featured Submission, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to be viewed by members of the general public. If your entry is selected as a Featured Submission, the Administrator will automatically add the hashtag #StayAmazingContest to your entry if the hashtag is not already included, and you and your Nominee and anyone else depicted will be required to complete an Assignment of Rights within forty-eight (48) hours in order to have your entry included in the Featured Submissions gallery. If you do not return the completed paperwork within the designated time frame, your entry may not be a Featured Submission. By entering, each entrant warrants and represents that his/her entry is original, has not been previously published or won any award, does not contain any material that would defame or otherwise violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including patents, copyrights, trademarks or rights of privacy or publicity, and will not violate any federal, state or local laws or ordinances. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and unfettered discretion to disqualify any entry that it believes contains obscene, offensive or inappropriate content, that does not comply with these Official Rules or that is not consistent with the spirit or theme of the Promotion. No information regarding entries, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules will be disclosed.
5. SELECTION OF WEEKLY PRIZE WINNERS
On or about the Friday following the close of each week, one (1) Nominator’s entry will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received for the previous week of the Promotion Period, for a total of four (4) Weekly Prize winners selected (Nominators who submitted a winning entry) in four (4) separate random drawings.

Drawings will be conducted by the Administrator at their offices in Melville, NY USA, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning a Weekly Prize depend on the total number of entries received for each week of the Promotion Period.
6. DETERMINATION OF GRAND PRIZE WINNERS
On or about May 27, 2015, all eligible entries will be judged by a panel of Sponsor representatives, based on the following criteria:

1. Originality/Creativity – 25%;
2. Quality of entry – 25%;
3. Relevance to theme – 50%.

The entry that receives the highest score from the judges will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winning Nominator/Nominee. In the event of a tie, tied entries will be re-judged based 100-percent (100%) on Originality/Creativity.

Decisions of the Sponsor and judges are final with respect to all matters relating to the Promotion. By participating, entrants agree to the decisions of the Judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Under no circumstance will information regarding judging/voting be shared with entrants.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION
The potential Grand Prize winning Nominator will be required to sign and return, via email, an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (where legal) and Assignment of Rights (“Affidavit/Declaration”) within seven (7) days of being notified or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winning Nominator will be determined as outlined above in Section 5, time permitting. The potential Grand Prize winning Nominator’s Nominee (or his/her parent/legal guardian if he/she is a minor in his/her state or jurisdiction of residence) will be required to sign and return an Affidavit/Declaration (where legal) within seven (7) days of Nominator being notified or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winning Nominator will be determined as outlined above in Section 5.

Each potential Weekly Prize winning Nominator will be required to complete a Liability & Publicity Release and Assignment of Rights (“Release”) within seven (7) days of being notified or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winning Nominator will be determined as outlined above in Section 4, time permitting. Potential Weekly Prize winning Nominators in Canada must answer correctly a mathematical skill-testing question without aid of mechanical device or otherwise, to be administered by the Administrator at a time and in a manner to be determined by the Administrator.

If a potential Nominator/Nominee fails to return the required document within the required time period, or the prize notification is returned undeliverable, or in the event that a potential Nominator/Nominee is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate Nominator/Nominee determined as outlined in section 4 or 5 from among all remaining eligible entries received for each week or throughout the Promotion Period, time permitting. Both the Nominator and Nominee must return their Affidavits/Declarations or Releases in order for them both to be eligible otherwise they will both be disqualified. All prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received for each week or throughout the Promotion Period.

Potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor and/or Administrator, whose decisions are final and BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. An entrant is not a winner of any prize unless and until entrant’s eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.
8. PRIZE
Nominee Grand Prize (1): A 5-day/4-night trip for two (2) to Bali, Indonesia. Trip includes 4 nights of hotel accommodations at a Marriott property in Bali, Indonesia [one (1) room, based on double occupancy], round-trip coach class air transportation for two (2) from the major airport nearest winner’s residence to Bali, Indonesia, and round-trip ground transportation between airport and hotel in Bali, Indonesia.
• The ARV of the Nominee Grand Prize is $6,000USD.
• Nominator Grand Prize (1): A $500USD Fairfield Inn & Suites Gift Card and a $1,000 air credit, awarded as a check.
• The ARV of the Nominator Grand Prize is $1,500USD.

9. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS
Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion if any advertised prize (or portion of a prize) becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for any loss of prize or portion of prize after it has been delivered. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of prize(s) not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. The Nominee/Nominator Grand Prize winners will be issued a 1099 tax form for the value of prize if he/she is a U.S resident. Gift cards are subject to restrictions. In the event a Prize winner or travel companion engage(s) in behavior during travel that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects that Prize winner or travel companion to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by Prize winner or travel companion as a result of such conduct. 10. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and in the event of cancellation, applicable winners will be determined as outlined in section 4 and 5 above from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor, Administrator, MMGY Global, MEC Global, Tumblr, and their agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen or misdirected entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, garbled transmissions or miscommunications, telephone transmission problems; computer or software malfunctions or damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. Proof of sending or submission of entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor or Administrator. Sponsor’s or Administrator’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and (a) modify the Promotion or suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) applicable winners will be determined as outlined in section 4 and 5 above from among all eligible entries received up to time of impairment.
11. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree that Sponsor, Administrator, MMGY Global, MEC Global, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, website providers, web masters, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. SUCH SUBMISSIONS SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE NON-CONFIDENTIAL, NON-PROPRIETARY AND SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO OBLIGATION OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO SUCH SUBMISSIONS AND SHALL BE FREE TO EDIT, EXPLOIT, MODIFY, PUBLISH, REPRODUCE, USE, DISCLOSE, DISSEMINATE AND DISTRIBUTE THE SUBMISSIONS TO OTHERS WITHOUT LIMITATION IN ANY AND ALL MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR NOT CURRENTLY KNOWN, THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IN PERPETUITY FOR ANY PURPOSE WITHOUT COMPENSATION, PERMISSION OR NOTIFICATION TO ENTRANT OR ANY THIRD PARTY. ENTRANT HEREBY GRANTS SPONSOR A ROYALTY FREE, IRREVOCABLE, AND WORLD WIDE, IN PERPETUITY LICENSE TO USE THE SUBMISSIONS IN ANY FORM OR FORMAT AND TO MODIFY THE SAME, AND ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT IF SPONSOR DOES USE THE SUBMISSIONS ENTRANT SHALL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY CREDIT, CONSIDERATION, NOTICE OR PAYMENTS OF ANY KIND. ENTRANT WAIVES ANY MORAL RIGHTS HE OR SHE MAY HAVE TO THE SUBMISSIONS, AND AGREES THAT IF SPONSOR ELECTS TO USE SUBMISSIONS FOR ANY PURPOSE, ALL RIGHTS UNDER COPYRIGHT OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS WHICH MAY RESULT FROM THAT RELATING TO ENTRANT’S SUBMISSIONS OR FROM USE OF THE SAME BY SPONSOR SHALL BE THE SOLE PROPERTY OF SPONSOR. ENTRANT FURTHER AGREES THAT IF SPONSOR ELECTS TO USE ENTRANT’S SUBMISSIONS, ENTRANT WILL EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS REQUESTED BY SPONSOR REGARDING THIS ASSIGNMENT. IF ANY USE BY SPONSOR OF THE SUBMISSIONS CAUSES IT TO BE LIABLE TO ANY THIRD PARTY, ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY SPONSOR AND ITS AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, REPRESENTATIVE AND ALL RELATED PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL DAMAGES, COSTS, JUDGMENTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEY FEES) WHICH IT INCURS AS A RESULT OF ITS USE OF THE SUBMISSIONS.
13. NATURE OF RELATIONHIP / WAIVER OF EQUITABLE RELIEF

Each entrant understands and acknowledges that Sponsor has wide access to ideas, designs, and other materials, and that new ideas are constantly being submitted to it or being developed by their own employees. Each entrant also acknowledges that many ideas may be competitive with, similar or identical to the entry and/or each other in theme, idea, format or other respects. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that such entrant will not be entitled to any compensation as a result of Sponsor’s use of any such similar or identical material. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Sponsor does not now and shall not have in the future any duty or liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise, with respect to the infringement or protection of the copyright in and to the entry. Finally, each entrant acknowledges that, with respect to any claim by entrant relating to or arising out of Sponsor actual or alleged exploitation or use of any entry or other material submitted in connection with the Promotion, the damage, if any, thereby caused to the applicable entrant will not be irreparable or otherwise sufficient to entitle such entrant to seek injunctive or other equitable relief or in any way enjoin the production, distribution, exhibition or other exploitation of the entry or any material based on or allegedly based on the entry, and the entrant’s rights and remedies in any such event shall be strictly limited to the right to recover damages, if any, in an action at law.
14. DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, entrants/winning Nominees (or parent/legal guardian for any minors) agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland or the appropriate State Court located in Maryland; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants/winning Nominees hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Maryland or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland.

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at www.marriott.com/privacy. Entrants should be aware that Sponsor may be collecting non-public, personally-identifiable information about them in connection with the operation of the Promotion.
