Contest Rules
 
Please read these rules (the Rules) before submitting your photo(s) to the Kerasal “Are you ‘Foot’ogenic?!” Photo Contest. These are General Rules governing all contests hosted by Kerasal, unless so specified in the Specific Rules that may be applicable to individual contests. By participating in the contests, you understand, acknowledge, and unconditionally agree to abide by the following Rules:
TERM:
Submissions for the Kerasal “Are You ‘Foot-ogenic?!” Photo Contest begin on April 1, 2023, and end April 30, 2023, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that he or she is 18 years of age or older.
ENTRY PERIOD
Dates: April 1, 2023, through April 30, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST.
 
Who may enter:
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and residents of the United States.
By entering, you grant Kerasal® permission to use your photo in perpetuity in any medium.  
Only one entry is allowed per person. By submitting a photo, you are stating that you took the photo and own the rights to the photo. All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on April 30, 2023.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
 
The contest begins on April 1, 2023. All entries must be received through the photo contest landing page by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time on April 30, 2023.
 
BASIC SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES FOR PHOTOGRAPHS
 
The contest is open for online submissions only, through the landing page here.
Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
No submissions will be accepted after the deadline ends.
Photos must be at least two megabytes, with a maximum file size of 9 megabytes. Images should have at least 200 pixels per inch, or a JPEG resolution of 2240 x 1680. Photos must be in JPEG/JPG/PNG format.
You may submit as many entries per contest as you wish, unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the contest specific rules. However, you will be able to upload only one image at a time using the websites upload function.
You are required to provide a unique title and photo description for each submitted image.
Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photo(s).
Every image uploaded is subject to a moderation process before it becomes visible on the contest page. Kerasal reserves the right to evaluate and disregard any submitted image at our discretion.
Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other content deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
A participant who submits any such photos may be permanently banned, subject to Kerasal’s discretion, from participating in any future contests.

JUDGING
 
Open Voting Period
 
Dates: May 1, 2023, through May 15, 2023, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.
 
12 Finalists will be selected based on the number of votes received during the Open Voting Period (May 1 – May 15, 2023).
11 Finalists receive standard prize (as outlined below)
1 Finalist will be chosen as Grand Prize Winner to receive Grand Prize (as outlined below)
 
Final Closed Voting Period
 
Dates: May 16, 2023, through May 31, 2023, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Top Entries will be judged by the Kerasal team, which reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
The Kerasal Judging Team will select the Grand Winner from the Top 10 Finalists from Open Voting Period.
ELIGIBLE PHOTO CONTENT REQUIREMENTS:
 
Barefoot
Only feet and calves can be shown in photo; No other body parts
Must be a photo of your feet
Only your feet in photo; No other feet in photo
Close-up photo of feet
Photo must be in focus
Make sure background is not busy so your feet are easily visible (ex. floor, wall, grass, sky)
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
 
Submitted photos must be original, created, and/or taken by the contestant. Acceptable photos cannot contain any materials owned or controlled by a third party for which you have not obtained a license, and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Kerasal respects photographers’ copyrights and copyrights shall remain vested with the creator of the image. Upon making the submission, you grant Kerasal, a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce, adapt, and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotion, exhibition, and commercial products (this includes any sales of products utilizing the photograph). Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. Kerasal will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.
