THIS PROMOTION IS ENTIRELY SEPARATE FROM ANY OTHER INTEL PROMOTION RUN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PC BUILDERS.
DATES OF PROMOTION: The Intel “Extreme Rig Challenge” Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) will start at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on January 17, 2017 and will end at 11:59 p.m. PT on March 11, 2017 (the “Promotion Period”). Promotion is subject to the entry periods and drawing dates outlined in the “ENTRY PERIODS” Section below. For purposes of these Official Rules, all times are given in Pacific Time.
ENTRY PERIODS: There will be two (2) entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”) held during the Promotion Period. For each Entry Period, one (1) first prize winner (each, a “First Prize Winner”) will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received via Twitter and AMOE (as defined in the “HOW TO ENTER” section of these Official Rules) during the respective Entry Period. Each First Prize Winner will win a first prize (each, a “First Prize”). At the end of the Promotion Period, six (6) grand prize winners (each, a “Grand Prize Winner”) will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received via Twitter and AMOE and one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received via AMOE and the Conference (as defined in the “HOW TO ENTER” section of these Official Rules). Each Grand Prize Winner selected will win a grand prize (the “Grand Prize”).
Each Entry Period will run from 12:00 a.m. PT on the start date to 11:59 p.m. PT on the end date outlined below. The two (2) Entry Periods are:

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person per calendar day for each Entry Period. Non-winning eligible entries from previous Entry Periods will not carry over to the next Entry Period. Entrants must enter each Entry Period separately in order to be eligible for each Entry Period drawing.
HOW TO ENTER: There are three (3) ways to enter the Promotion drawings:
Twitter®: Entrant must be a registered Twitter® user and have his/her profile settings set to “public”. To become a registered user of Twitter®, visit www.twitter.com to register. Entrant must include the hashtag #RigChallengeSweepstakes in a Tweet and vote for his/her favorite PC builder and then click “Tweet” to receive one (1) entry into the Promotion. Entrant must include the hashtag and vote and his/her Twitter® account must be set to “public” in order to receive one (1) entry into the Promotion. Entries are limited to one (1) per calendar day for the duration of the Promotion Period. If the Entrant’s account is not set to “public”, the Entrant will not be eligible to wi Entrant may not use multiple Twitter® accounts to enter. Entrants entering via Twitter® will be eligible for the Entry Period drawings and the Grand Prize Twitter/AMOE Drawing (as defined in the “WINNING/ODDS” section of these Official Rules).
On-Site: Entrant must visit the Intel Booth at the PAX East conference (located at 415 Summer St., Boston, MA 02210, the “Conference”) during the Promotion Period and locate an Intel team member to vote for his/her favorite PC builder and complete the entry form to receive one (1) entry into the Promotion. Entrants entering via on-site will only receive one (1) entry into the Grand Prize On-Site Drawing (as defined in the “WINNING/ODDS” section of these Official Rules).
Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”): To enter without attending the Conference or posting a Tweet via Twitter, send an email to email@example.com during an Entry Period, inclusive of your first name, last name, address, city, state/province/territory, postal/zip code, daytime telephone number (including area code), and date of birth. The subject line of the email must include “Intel Extreme Rig Alternate Entry [INSERT DATE]”. The date is associated with the Entry Period. For example, if you submit an AMOE entry on 1/18/17, the subject line of the email must state “Intel Extreme Rig Alternate Entry – 1/18/17” and the email must be submitted between 12:00 a.m. PT on 1/17/17 and 11:59 p.m. PT on 2/10/17. AMOE entries that do not include the date in the subject line will not be considered eligible. AMOE entries are limited to one (1) entry per calendar day. Entrants entering via AMOE will be eligible for the Entry Period drawings and the Grand Prize Twitter/AMOE Drawing and the Grand Prize On-Site Drawing.
This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter®. Entrant understands that he/she is supplying their information to the Sponsor and not to Twitter®.
Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities and/or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Promotion. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be disqualified.
The Promotion Entities are not responsible for any entry that is lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmissions or any other reason, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunication malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, technical malfunctions, or otherwise. No mechanically or programmatically reproduced entries are permitted. Late entries or entries sent via any other method will not be accepted. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor, and the Sponsor has no obligation to acknowledge receipt of or to return any entry received.
Entry Period Drawings: In accordance with the dates outlined in the “ENTRY PERIODS” section above, there will be two (2) random drawings held on or about February 15, 2017 (for Entry Period 1) and March 15, 2017 (for Entry Period 2). For each drawing, one (1) First Prize Winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received via Twitter and AMOE during the respective Entry Period. Odds of winning a First Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received via Twitter and AMOE during the respective Entry Period.
Grand Prize Twitter/AMOE Drawing: There will be one (1) Grand Prize Twitter/AMOE drawing held on or about March 15, 2017. For this Grand Prize Twitter/AMOE drawing, six (6) Grand Prize Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received via Twitter and AMOE during the entire Promotion Period. Odds of winning a Grand Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received via Twitter and AMOE during the Promotion Period.
Grand Prize On-Site/AMOE Drawing: There will be one (1) Grand Prize On-Site/AMOE drawing held on or about March 15, 2017. For this Grand Prize On-Site/AMOE drawing, one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received via On-Site and AMOE during the entire Promotion Period. Odds of winning a Grand Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received via On-Site and AMOE during the Promotion Period.
The awarding of all prizes is subject to verification by the Sponsor and Independent Administrator whose decisions are based upon their sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules and are final and binding in all respects. A POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF THE PROMOTION SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL THEIR ELIGIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY HAVE BEEN VERIFIED BY THE SPONSOR.
First Prizes: Two (2) First Prize Winners will each receive a First Prize of an HTC Vive VR headset. There will be one (1) First Prize Winner per Entry Period. Each First Prize has an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $800USD/$1,050CDN.
Grand Prizes: Seven (7) Grand Prize Winners will each receive a Grand Prize of a Custom Gaming Rig. Each Grand Prize has a maximum ARV of $10,000USD/$13,125CDN.
The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in this Promotion is $71,600USD/$93,975CDN.
There is a limit of one (1) First Prize and one (1) Grand Prize per person/household. Prize winners agree that all prizes are being provided “as is”, and the Released Parties (as defined in the “NO LIABILITY” section below) make no warranty, representation, or guarantee regarding any prize, including but not limited to its quality, condition, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Prize winners must look solely to the manufacturer of prizes for any such warranties or guarantees, if any. No transfer, substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if prize becomes unavailable due to reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor. Prize winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes if applicable. No more than the number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. All prizes will be awarded.
Twitter: If a prize winner entered via Twitter, the prize winner will be contacted via @reply on his/her Tweet (the “Notification”). Prize winner must visit www.twitter.com/quangoinc (the “Website”) and follow @quangoinc within two (2) days of the @reply date in order to allow Quango to send prize winner a direct message. Prize winner must respond to the direct message within two (2) days of the message date by replying to the direct message with specific personal information to include his/her first name, last name, physical address, city, state, zip, email and date of birth. It is highly recommended that prize winner confirms that his/her Twitter notification settings are set to public.
On-Site and AMOE: If a prize winner entered via On-Site or AMOE, the prize winner will be notified by email or phone within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing date (the “Notification”). Grand Prize Winner must respond to the Notification within two (2) days of receipt of the Notification.
In the event the Sponsor cannot reach a prize winner via the applicable Notification method listed above, a prize winner does not respond by the date indicated within such Notification, or it is determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, that a prize winner is not eligible in accordance with these Official Rules, such prize winner will be disqualified (without compensation of any kind). An alternate prize winner will be selected at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries received per the applicable drawing. Prize winners will be required to complete a Release/Declaration and IRS Form W-9/W-8BEN as defined in the “PRIZE CLAIMS” section below. In addition, any prize winner residing in Canada (excluding Quebec) will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question (unaided by electronic or mechanical device or otherwise) in order to receive his/her prize.
PRIZE CLAIMS: Except where prohibited, in addition to supplying the information as outlined in the “NOTIFICATION” section above, prize winners must sign and return to the Independent Administrator, within seven (7) days of receipt, an affidavit/declaration of eligibility/release of liability/publicity release (the “Release”) and either an IRS Form W-9 (US Residents only) or IRS Form W-8BEN (Canada Residents only) in order to claim his/her prize. The Release and either IRS Form W-9 (US Residents only) or IRS Form W-8BEN (Canada Residents only) will be sent to the prize winner via the email address provided to the Notification. If the prize winner fails to sign and return the Release and IRS Form W-9 (US Residents only) or IRS Form W-8BEN (Canada Residents only) within the required time period, such prize winner forfeits his/her right to the prize and an alternate prize winner will be selected at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries received. The value of the prize may be taxable as income and prize winner is solely responsible for any taxes on the prize, including but not limited to all applicable federal, state, and local taxes that become due with respect to the value of the prize. Prize winners must report income to the IRS. In the event it is deemed during the verification process that the prize winner does not have a unique, personal and valid social security number for Sponsor to report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the prize, such prize winner will be disqualified and another prize winner selected as outlined above. Valid social security numbers will be determined by IRS requirements. The Sponsor (or a party acting on its behalf) must report the value of the prize to the IRS in the year the prize is received by the prize winner and will be reported to the prize winner and the IRS in the form of a Form 1099 (US Residents) or a Form 1042-S (Canada Residents). All applicable taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION: By participating in this Promotion, Entrants and prize winners release each and all of the Promotion Entities from any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of participation in the Promotion, and/or the receipt or use/misuse of the prizes awarded, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, death or property damage. By participating in this Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor/Independent Administrator, which are final in all respects and not subject to appeal. Sponsor reserves the right permanently to disqualify from this Promotion any Entrant it believes has violated these Official Rules. Winning a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use prize winners’ names, addresses (city & state/province/territory), voices and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity, for this Promotion only, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor and/or Promotion Entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete entries, whether due to system errors or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, faulty transmissions, technical malfunctions, or otherwise. Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Promotion or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrants, Sponsor, or Promotion Entities. If for any reason this Promotion is not able to be conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and randomly draw from those entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date. This Promotion is governed by the laws of the United States and for Canadian Entrants, shall be construed in accordance of the applicable laws of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec), without regard to conflict law provisions or principles. By participating, Canadian Entrants consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Toronto, Ontario, as well as legal proceedings in those courts. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. SPONSOR’S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.
NO LIABILITY: By participating, Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and Promotion Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by prize winners, Entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Promotion as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity or participation in this Promotion.
