NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE
WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes your acceptance of these Official Rules.
DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES: The “Home Depot 2023 Q1 U.S. Customer Satisfaction
Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on January 30, 2023
and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on April 30, 2023 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to permanent legal U.S. residents of one of the fifty
(50) United States or the District of Columbia (including residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands and
Guam and excluding residents of Puerto Rico), at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at time
of entry (“Entrant”). The Entrant who is selected as the potential prize winner (the “Prize Winner”)
must have a unique, personal, and valid social security number for Sponsor (defined below) to
report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the prize (“Prize”). Valid social security
number will be determined by Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) requirements as further defined
in the “Prize Claims” section of these Official Rules. Officers, directors, managers and employees
of Home Depot Store Support, Inc. (“Sponsor”), and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries,
affiliates and related companies, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, including
companies providing marketing and market research services to Sponsor or its client(s),
consultants and agents, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children)
and household members of each such person, and any others engaged in the development,
production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes, including American Sweepstakes &
Promotion Company, Inc. (the “Independent Administrator”), are not eligible to participate.
Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law.
OVERVIEW: There are two (2) categories (each, a “Category” and collectively, “Categories”) in
the Sweepstakes: (a) consumer category (“Consumer Category”); and (b) professional category
(“Professional Category”). For this Sweepstakes, one (1) Prize Winner will be selected from the
eligible entries received within the Consumer Category, and one (1) Prize Winner will be selected
from the eligible entries received with the Professional Category. See “Random
Drawing/Notification” section for complete details. NOTE: You may only enter one (1) Category.
To be eligible to enter the Professional Category, Entrant must be employed as a General
Contractor/Remodeler, Building Operator/Maintenance, Handyman, Building/Construction worker
(residential or commercial), Real Estate/Rental Property Manager, or Special Tradesman
(includes plumber, electrician, roofing, HVAC, etc). If you do not meet the criteria to be eligible to
enter the Professional Category, you must enter the Consumer Category. Entrants who enter via
the Survey (defined below) will be automatically placed in the correct Category based upon the
information he/she provides within the Survey itself. Entrants who enter via the AMOE (defined
below) must provide his/her Category preference at time of entry.
HOW TO ENTER: There are three (3) ways to enter the Sweepstakes. Regardless of the
method used to enter the Sweepstakes, either via online entry via the Survey (defined
below), via online entry via the Survey after a Completed Store Transaction or AMOE
(defined below) or via a combination of the three (3) entry methods, there is a limit of forty-
five (45) entries per person during the Sweepstakes Period.

a) Online entry via the Survey after Completed Transaction: Complete the survey (the
“Survey”) between 12:00 a.m. CT on January 30, 2023 and 11:59 p.m. April 30, 2023 by
visiting the Home Depot website located at www.HomeDepot.com/survey (the “Website”).
When prompted, select your preferred language, and submit your zip code, then submit
the unique user ID (“User ID”) and password (“Password”) located on a receipt obtained by
completing one (1) of the following transactions at a participating The Home Depot Retail
Location or online at www.HomeDepot.com when the product(s) purchased is picked up at
a participating The Home Depot location (each a “Transaction”): (a) a purchase, (b) a
return, or (c) an exchange. PLEASE NOTE: Entrants may utilize receipts from multiple
Transactions to enter this Sweepstakes. For example, if a receipt is issued for a purchase,
the User ID and Password found upon that receipt may be used to enter this Sweepstakes.
If the purchase is later returned or exchanged, a new receipt will be issued, and the User
ID and Password found upon that receipt may also be used to enter this Sweepstakes.
Receipts are valid for use in the Survey for fourteen (14) days from the date of the
Transaction (as noted on the applicable receipt). *After entering the unique User ID and
Password, complete the Survey in its entirety, by submitting your answers to the Survey
questions. When you have completed the Survey, and when prompted, complete the
official Sweepstakes entry form (the “Entry Form”) in its entirety, including your first name,
last name, e-mail address and telephone number (including area code). Then, press the
“Next” button to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Survey must be completed by
11:59 p.m. CT on April 30, 2023. To be eligible and receive your Entry into the
Sweepstakes, you must complete the entire Survey, the Entry Form and click on the “Next”
button. If you do not complete the Survey, the Entry Form and click the “Next” button, you
will not receive an entry into the Sweepstakes and therefore will not be eligible to win a
Prize.
*NOTE: The User ID and Password found upon your receipt is only valid
for fourteen (14) days from the date of the Transaction (as noted on the
applicable receipt). If an Entrant’s User ID and Password expire prior to the
end of this Sweepstakes, such Entrant may enter by either, (a) completing
another Transaction during the Sweepstakes Period to receive a new receipt;
or (b) via the “AMOE” listed below. For example: If an Entrant completes a
Transaction and receives a receipt dated February 1, 2023, he/she may use the
User ID and Password found upon the receipt to access the Survey and receive
entry into the Sweepstakes through 11:59 p.m. CT on February 14, 2023. If he/she
does not use the User ID and Password to access the Survey by 11:59 p.m. CT
on February 14, 2023, he/she will not be eligible to receive an entry into the
Sweepstakes via the online entry method with this receipt. In such case, and if
desired, he/she can receive an entry via a new receipt by completing another
Transaction during the Sweepstakes Period or via the AMOE as outlined below.
Consequently, if the User ID and Password expire after this Sweepstakes has
ended, the Entrant may only use the User ID and Password to enter this
Sweepstakes through the end of the Sweepstakes Period. For example: If an
Entrant completes a Transaction and receives a receipt dated April 25, 2023,
he/she may use the User ID and Password to solely access the Survey until 11:59
p.m. CT on April 30, 2023. Entries are subject to User ID and Password validation
and verification. Only one (1) entry per User ID and Password will be accepted. In
addition, if the Entrant’s transaction takes place during the Sweepstakes Period,
and the Sweepstakes Period ends without the Entrant taking the survey, the
Entrant’s Transaction can still be used to enter into a subsequent sweepstakes (if
one is conducted) if (i) the User ID and Password found on the Entrants receipt is

still valid (i.e., the date of the receipt is within fourteen (14) days from the date of
the Transaction), and (ii) the Transaction falls within the sweepstakes period for
such subsequent sweepstakes.
b) Online entry via the Survey after Completed Store Transaction: During the
Sweepstakes Period an Entrant may receive an email invitation after a Transaction (as
described above). If received, Entrants must click on the link included in the email invitation
to access the Survey. Survey links are valid for use for seven (7) days from the date of the
email receipt. Complete the Survey in its entirety, by submitting your answers to the Survey
questions. When you have completed the Survey, and when prompted, complete the official
Sweepstakes entry form (the “Entry Form”) in its entirety, including your first name, last
name, e-mail address and telephone number (including area code). Then, press the “Next”
button to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Survey must be completed by 11:59
p.m. CT on April 30, 2023, or with the seven (7) days of receiving the email invitation. To be
eligible and receive your Entry into the Sweepstakes, you must complete the entire Survey,
the Entry Form and click on the “Next” button. If you do not complete the Survey, the Entry
Form and click the “Next” button, you will not receive an entry into the Sweepstakes and
therefore will not be eligible to win a Prize. Internet access required.
c) Without taking the Survey via the Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”): To enter the
Sweepstakes without completing the Survey you may enter by mail as follows: On a 3″ x
5″ card, legibly handprint or type your first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone
number (including area code), and consumer category (either Consumer or Pro) and mail
your 3″ x 5″ card in a business size envelope to:

All AMOE entries must be postmarked by April 30, 2023 and received by May 5, 2023. Limit one
(1) entry per envelope. Each envelope is considered one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Multiple
entries submitted or completed by anyone other than the Entrant are void. No mechanical
reproductions will be accepted. AMOE entries must contain all entry fields to be entered,
otherwise void.
Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using
multiple/different addresses, and/or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entries and that
Entrant may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Entries submitted by anyone other than the
Entrant are void. Neither the Sponsor, nor Independent Administrator will verify receipt of entries
for Entrants. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, damaged, or postage-due mailed
entries.
RANDOM DRAWING/NOTIFICATION: There will be one (1) Prize Winner selected from each
Category in the Sweepstakes and each will receive a Prize as outlined in the “Prize” section below.
On or about May 5, 2023, one (1) Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted

from among all entries received within the Consumer category (the “Consumer Prize Winner”)
and one (1) Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted from among all entries
received within the Professional Category (the “Professional Prize Winner”). Each of the random
drawings will be conducted by a Sponsor representative, whose decisions are based upon his/her
sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules and are final and binding in all respects.
A potential Prize Winner will be notified by the Sponsor by email and/or phone within 5 business
days of the Draw Date (“Notification”). Please check your email and spam filters. In the event the
Potential Prize Winner fails to respond to the Notification within 5 business days of the Sponsor’s
first attempt to contact the potential winner or if it is determined by Sponsor and/or Independent
Administrator, in their sole discretion, that a potential Prize Winner is not eligible in accordance
with these Official Rules, an alternate Prize Winner will be selected at random from among the
remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. In such case,
he/she will be notified as outlined above. Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to
contact a selected Entrant.
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of being selected as the Prize Winner will depend upon the total
number of eligible entries received within the Sweepstakes Period.
PRIZE:
Consumer Category Prize: One (1) Prize of a $5,000 Home Depot Gift Card will be awarded
to the Consumer Prize Winner (“Consumer Prize”). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of
the Consumer Prize is five thousand dollars ($5,000).
Professional Category Prize: One (1) Prize of a $5,000 Home Depot Gift Card will be
awarded to the Professional Prize Winner (“Professional Prize”). The approximate retail value
(“ARV”) of the Professional Prize is five thousand dollars ($5,000).
Each Prize is subject to the terms of the conditions of the gift card itself. Prizes cannot be
substituted, assigned, or transferred; except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided
herein. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen Prizes. Each Prize is taxable as income and
each Prize Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, including
taxes imposed on his/her income. No more than the stated number of Prizes set forth in these
Official Rules will be awarded. All Prizes will be awarded.
PRIZE CLAIMS: Except where prohibited, each potential Prize Winner must complete, sign, and
return an “Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release Form” (the “Release”) and an IRS Form
W-9 (collectively, the “Required Documents”), within 5 business days of receiving the Release by
the Independent Administrator. If a potential Prize Winner fails to return the Required Documents
within 5 business days of receiving the Release by the Independent Administrator, potential Prize
Winner forfeits his/her right to the respective Prize and another Prize Winner will be selected at
random from among the remaining non-winning eligible entries received within the respective
Category. Potential Prize Winners must report income to the IRS. In the event it is deemed
during the verification process that the potential Prize Winner does not have a unique,
personal, and valid social security number for Sponsor to report the tax liability associated
with acceptance of the Prize, such potential Prize Winner will be disqualified, and another
Prize Winner selected as outlined above. Valid social security numbers will be determined
by IRS requirements. The Sponsor (or a party acting on its behalf) must report the value of
the Prize to the IRS in the year the Prize is received by the Prize Winner and will be reported
to the Prize Winner and the IRS in the form of a Form 1099. Prize Winners consent (and,
except where prohibited, agree to sign any additional documents required by Sponsor to

formalize, effect or perfect such consent) to Sponsor’s use of his/her name, likeness (photograph
and/or video), biographical information, and voices in advertising/publicity/trade without
compensation, notice or approval; and, Prize Winners disclaim any ownership rights of such
advertising/publicity/trade material (TN residents will not be required to sign a publicity release as
a condition of winning a Prize). The Prizes will be awarded within six (6) to eight (8) weeks from
the date in which the Required Documents are received.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these
Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding with respect to
all issues relating to this Sweepstakes. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s
sole discretion, compromised by non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the
sole discretion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper
submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and conduct the Sweepstakes in a manner which in its sole
discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by
Sponsor will be posted at the Website. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the
Prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.
Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering
with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these
Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to
disqualify or reject any incomplete, inaccurate, or false entry. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON
TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES
IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE
MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR’S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY
TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE
PROVISIONS.
RELEASE: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless
Sponsor, and its client(s), and each of their parent companies, respective officers, directors,
managers, employees, subsidiaries, affiliated entities, agents, members, shareholders, insurers,
servants, guests, divisions, predecessors, successors, representatives, assigns, attorneys,
dealers, distributors, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, including the Independent
Administrator (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action
arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, redemption or use of any Prize.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties do not have any responsibility or liability
whatsoever for: (a); unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the
Sweepstakes; (b) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the
Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (c) any property loss, damage, personal injury, or
death, in connection with the Prize provided pursuant to this Sweepstakes and/or any person’s
participating in the Sweepstakes; (d) any printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-
related materials; (e) stolen, lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, damaged or
indecipherable entries; or (vi) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the
malfunctioning of any computer, mobile device, cable, network, hardware or software (if
applicable), as well as any failure of the Website during the Sweepstakes Period.
CHOICE OF LAW: Under no circumstances will Entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and
Entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any
other damages, including attorneys’ fees, and Entrants further waive all rights to have damages
multiplied or increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity,

interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrants
and Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in
accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to Georgia conflict
of law principles.
ENTRANT’S PERSONAL INFORMATION: When you participate in the Survey and enter this
Sweepstakes, Sponsor will be collecting non-personally identifiable data about Entrants. Sponsor
will also collect your name, mailing address, and telephone number. We use this information to
administer your participation in the Sweepstakes. At the time you are entering the Sweepstakes,
we may ask for your email address and for your permission to send you future marketing
information from Home Depot. If you wish to later opt-out of these emails, you can do so
by checking the unsubscribe button on the email or visiting
http://www.homedepot.com/c/Privacy_Security. All other information collected from Entrants
(including but not limited to the Entrant’s gender and any other demographic information) is
collected for analysis purposes only.

WINNERS LIST/RULES REQUEST: For the name of the Prize Winners or a copy of these
Official Rules, please submit a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt by May 1, 2023, to
“Home Depot 2023 Q1 Sweeps US” (please specify “Winner’s List” or “Rules Request”),
American Sweepstakes & Promotion Company, 300 State Street, Suite #402, Rochester NY
14614. A copy of these Official Rules may also be obtained at the Website during the
Sweepstakes Period. The name of the Prize Winners for previous Sweepstakes can also be
found on the Website and the name of the Prize Winners for this Sweepstakes can be found on
the Website, on or about May 15, 2023, after the Prize Winners are confirmed.
