1. ELIGIBILITY: The PPA Pickleball Cruise Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by
Holland America Line N.V. (“HAL”) and the Professional Pickleball Association (“PPA”)
(together the “Sponsors”). The Sweepstakes is open only to individual persons who as of the
date of entry are legal residents of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and
are 21 years of age or older and are located in the United States at the time of entry (“Entrants”
or “Eligible Entrants”). Employees of Holland America Line N.V., the Professional Pickleball
Association, DCG One, and any of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors
and advertising and promotion agencies (all of the foregoing, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and
such employees’ immediate family members (defined as spouse, parent, child, siblings and their
respective spouses) and household members (whether related or not), are not eligible to enter
or win. Void in U.S. territories, outside the U.S., and where prohibited by law. In the event of
a dispute regarding an entry, such entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder
of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to
an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization
responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail
address). Sponsors reserve the right to verify eligibility qualifications of Entrants and winners.
The Sponsors’ decision is final in deciding the identity and/or eligibility of an Entrant.
Sponsors’ decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
2. HOW TO ENTER: The entry period for the Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time
(“PT”) on May 1, 2023 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on August 1, 2023 (the “Entry Period”).
Eligible entrants may during the Entry Period, eligible entrants may visiting the official online
entry site at pickleballatseasweeps.com (the “Website”) and following the on-screen entry
instructions to complete an official entry form to receive a standard entry (an “Initial Entry”)
by providing their first and last name, e-mail address, country of residence and such other
information as Sponsors may require, including, but not limited to, confirmation of age and
U.S. residency, and whether consent is given to receive marketing information. Upon
completion of the entry page, Entrants may opt to follow the onscreen instructions to share the

Sweepstakes link via Twitter or Facebook in order to receive one additional entry (“Bonus
Entry”).
Initial Entries and Bonus Entries must be submitted and received during the Entry Period.
Normal time rates, if any, charged by Internet service provider will apply. Proof of submission
does not constitute proof of entry. Entry times will be determined using Sponsors’ designated
computer, which will be the official clock for the Sweepstakes. There is a limit of one Initial
Entry per person per e-mail address and a limit of one Bonus Entry per person per e-mail
address, regardless of method of entry. Additional Initial Entries or Bonus Entries from any one
person or e-mail address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. In the event of a dispute
regarding any Entry or Bonus Entry (hereinafter collectively or interchangeably referred to as
an “Entry”), the Entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail
address submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an email
address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization
responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail
address).
3. WINNER SELECTION: Sponsors’ representative will randomly select two (2) entries (each
a “Potential Winner”) from among all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period as the
“Potential Grand Prize Winner” and “Potential First Prize Winner.” The Potential Grand Prize
Winner will be selected first, followed by the Potential First Prize Winner. The random
drawings will take place at 450 Third Avenue West, Seattle, WA 98119 USA on or about
August 12, 2023. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received. The
Potential Winners are subject to verification, including verification of age and residency. The
Potential Winners will be notified by email at the email address provided at the time of Entry
(“Winner Notification”). The Potential Winners will be required to complete, sign and return
unamended to Sponsors, within five (5) days of the date Winner Notification is sent, an
Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility and Liability Release and, if legally permissible, a Publicity
Release, and all information required for tax reporting, as applicable, per Section 4 herein
(collectively the “Prize Claim Forms”), in order to be verified as and to claim their prize. Failure
to complete, sign, return, and if required have notarized (collectively “Complete”), all required
Prize Claim Forms within the time frame specified may result in the Potential Winner being
disqualified and forfeiting the prize. If the Winner Notification is returned as undeliverable, if
a Potential Winner fails to respond to any notification as directed, if a Potential Winner fails
Complete all required Prize Claim Forms, if a Potential Winner is determined to be ineligible
or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if a Potential Winner cannot accept
the applicable prize as awarded for any reason, that Potential Winner may be disqualified and
an alternate winner may be selected, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. A verified Potential Winner
shall be referred to herein as a “Winner.” The Winner must continue to comply with all terms
and conditions of these Official Rules, and being awarded the prize is contingent upon fulfilling
all requirements.
4. PRIZES:
A. One Grand Prize (the “Grand Prize”) is available to be awarded in the Sweepstakes. The
Grand Prize consists of the following:
Winner’s choice of one (1) seven- (7-)day Holland America Line Alaska, Caribbean,

Canada/New England or Mexico Cruise for the winner and one (1) guest (“Cruise
Guest”), sharing accommodations of one (1) ocean view stateroom, departing by
November 4, 2024 (excluding blackout dates on November 18-26, 2023 and December
16, 2023-January 6, 2024); and
Two pickleball paddle kits.
Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize: $2,261.00, inclusive of taxes, fees
& port expenses. Includes crew appreciation. Actual value may vary depending on
timing and cruise selected. Subject to availability.
Cruise Trip Details:
Grand Prize travel date is subject to availability at time of confirmation and must commence
by November 4, 2024. The Winner and Cruise Guest must travel on the same itinerary. The
Prize consists of an ocean view stateroom accommodations for the winner and one (1)
Cruise Guest (same stateroom) and most shipboard meals (certain alternate dining options
require payment of a fee). All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance or use of
any prize that are not expressly specified in these Official Rules as being part of the Prize
(including without limitation airfare or other transportation to or from port of departure,
ground transfers, shore excursions, hotel charges incurred before or after the cruise or while
in port, discretionary dining charges, meals in alternate dining venues, alcoholic beverages,
boutique purchases, travel insurance, laundry service, local and long distance telephone
calls, ship to shore communications including Internet usage, any other personal onboard
expenses, applicable passport, visa and entry/exit fees and any other incidental costs or
expenses) are the responsibility of the Winner. The Prize is provided subject to the Holland
America Line Cruise Contract (“Cruise Contract”), which can be accessed at
www.hollandamerica.com, and applicable terms and conditions set forth in the Holland
America Line brochure from which the cruise is selected. Winner’s Guest must be at least
21 years of age at the time of departure unless Winner is Cruise Guest’s parent, guardian or
spouse. As set forth in more detail in the Cruise Contract, HAL reserves the right to refuse
to embark Winner or Cruise Guest, at any time if, in the sole opinion of HAL, Winner,
Cruise Guest, or any minor or other person in Winner or Cruise Guest’s care during the
cruise, are unfit for any reason for the cruise. The Winner and Cruise Guest must have all
necessary identification and/or cruise documents (including but not limited to a valid
passport, visa (if applicable) and all other necessary travel documents) required for the
cruise. In addition, Winners and Cruise Guest are responsible for obtaining and providing
proof of any and all required (either by applicable government, port or Sponsors’ own)
Covid-19 or any other vaccination or health protocols in advance or at time of boarding
(originally or after any excursion) the cruise/cruisetour vessel, at Winner’s/Cruise Guest’s
sole cost (“Health/Vaccine Protocols & Documentation”). Those without proper citizenship
documentation and Health/Vaccine Protocols & Documentation will be denied
boarding. Each traveler must check with their travel agent, government agencies, embassies
or consulates prior to their cruise to ensure that they have proper citizenship documentation.
All reservations and cruise/cruisetour arrangements including, without limitation, the dates
and times, are subject to availability (as determined solely by Sponsors), and restrictions
such as blackout dates including holidays may apply. Winner and Cruise Guest are also
responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option

and hereby acknowledge that Sponsors has not and will not obtain or provide travel
insurance or any other form of insurance. Winners must confirm with Sponsors their intent
to travel on the cruise Prize at least 60 days prior to the departure of such cruise and all
cruises must be booked at least 45 days prior to the departure of such cruise. Ship’s registry:
The Netherlands.
The Grand Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-negotiable for cash, may not be
resold, and cannot be used as partial payment toward a different Holland America cruise or
stateroom category other than that assigned. The Winner and Cruise Guest are NOT eligible
for Holland America air/sea programs or Holland America’s Cancellation Protection Plan
programs in connection with the Grand Prize.
B. One First Prize (the “First Prize”) is available to be awarded in the sweepstakes. The First
Prize consists of the following:
Two (2) VIP tickets for Winner and one (1) guest (“PPA Guest”) to one Saturday
and Sunday PPA event in 2023.
Coach airfare for Winner and PPA Guest to/from major airport nearest Winner’s
home and the location of the PPA event, and two nights double occupancy hotel
accommodations (shared) for Winner and PPA Guest while at the PPA event.
ARV $2,100
PPA Trip Details: PPA event and travel dates are subject to availability at time of
confirmation and must take place in 2023. The Winner and PPA Guest must travel on the
same itinerary. All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance or use of the First
Prize that are not expressly specified in these Official Rules as being part of the Prize
(including without limitation ground transfers, tips and gratuities, hotel incidental charges,
meals and beverages, travel insurance, and any other incidental costs or expenses) are the
responsibility of the Winner. PPA Guest must be at least 21 years of age at the time of
departure unless Winner is PPA Guest’s parent, guardian or spouse. The Winner and PPA
Guest must have all necessary identification required for the travel. All reservations and
travel arrangements including, without limitation, the dates and times, are subject to
availability (as determined solely by Sponsors), and restrictions such as blackout dates
including holidays may apply. Winner and PPA Guest are also responsible for obtaining
travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge
that Sponsors has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of
insurance.
C. The total ARV for all prizes in this Sweepstakes is $4,361.00 USD. Actual value depends
on timing, cruise or PPA Event selected, and market conditions at time of fulfillment. Any
difference between ARV and actual value will not be awarded. Restrictions may apply. All
prize details will be determined by Sponsors in their discretion. The prizes consist only of
those items expressly specified in these Official Rules as being part of the respective prize.
Prizes may not be transferred. No prize substitutions or cash redemptions allowed, except
in the discretion of Sponsors, which reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component
of equal or greater value. The prize will be awarded if properly claimed. Prize is awarded
“as is” and without any warranty, except as required by law. Prize will be awarded only to
a Winner with a residential address within the United States or D.C. Winner will be solely

responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes in connection with acceptance
of prize. As a condition of accepting a Prize, Winners agree to furnish to Sponsors any
requested information needed for tax reporting, including a Form W-9, and understands that
such information must be received by Sponsors before or at the time any prize is issued to
or booked on behalf of such Winner. Winner will be sent an IRS Form 1099 for the actual
value of the prize awarded. The actual value of any prize depends on market conditions at
time of fulfillment.
5. GRANT OF RIGHTS/PUBLICITY RELEASE: By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant
grants the right a) to Sponsors and, as applicable, any of their respective parent companies,
affiliates, subsidiaries and successors, and each of their agents and licensees the right to process,
store, disclose and otherwise use all personal information for the purposes of administering this
Sweepstakes and for other marketing and public relations related activity and in any other
manner permitted by Sponsors’ privacy policies which can be viewed at
www.hollandamerica.com and https://www.ppatour.com/privacy-policy-2/ , and b) to DCG
One, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and successors, and its agents and licensees
to process, store, disclose and otherwise use all personal information for the sole purpose of
administering this Sweepstakes. In addition, if selected and confirmed as the Winner of the
Sweepstakes, each Entrant grants to Sponsors the right to use such winning Entrant’s name,
voice, likeness, image and biographical information and statements for purposes of advertising,
trade, promotion and other commercial purposes and any other manner permitted by the privacy
policies of Sponsors, in perpetuity, worldwide, without further notice or compensation (except
where prohibited by law). Sponsors may in their discretion create and disseminate blog posts
and other informational accounts of the Grand Prize trip and PPA Event trip and the activities
of the Winners and guests in connection with the trips, and by entering each entrant consents to
the same.
6. GENERAL RULES: Sponsors and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates,
subsidiaries, distributors and advertising, promotion and Internet agencies, Twitter, Facebook
and DCG One and the successors, assigns and agents of each of the foregoing, and each of their
respective directors, officers and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not
responsible for, and will have no liability for, late, lost, delayed, illegible, damaged, corrupted
or incomplete entries, postage-due mail, incorrect or inaccurate capture of entries or entry
information, loss of or damage to entries or entry information, or any other human or technical
errors of any kind relating to the operation of the Website, communications or attempted
communications with any Entrant, the submission, collection, storage or processing of entries
or the administration of the Sweepstakes. The Released Parties are not responsible for, and will
have no liability for, undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail
filtering by a user’s Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in
user’s e-mail account to receive e-mail. The Released Parties are not responsible for, and will
have no liability for, any damage to any computer or computer system resulting from
participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with the Sweepstakes.
The Released Parties are not responsible for, and will have no liability for, Acts of God, acts of
terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control
that may cause any postponement or cancellation of any prize component or event. CAUTION:
ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE
LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL

AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE
THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY
SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Use of any
macro, “bot” or other automated system or mechanism to submit entries is prohibited. Sponsors,
in their sole discretion, may disqualify any individual who Sponsors determine or believe has
tampered with the entry process, cheated, or otherwise undermined or attempted to undermine
the legitimate operation of the Website or the Sweepstakes or acted in a manner or has engaged
in conduct that is intended or likely to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or any
representative of Sponsors. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify
or suspend all or part of this Sweepstakes, or to extend the entry dates of the Sweepstakes, if
the Sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned for any reason, including but not limited to an
unforeseen event such as an infection by a virus or bug, or if there is tampering, an unauthorized
intervention, technical failure or corruption of any sort, or if there is any force majeure event
(including without limitation an epidemic pandemic, communicable, contagious or infectious
disease or public health quarantine), if there is any other occurrence that impacts the anticipated
participation in the Sweepstakes, or other cause(s) beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors
that, in Sponsors’ determination, corrupt the administration, integrity, security or proper
operation of the Sweepstakes. In the event of termination of the Sweepstakes, a notice will be
posted online and a random drawing to award the prize will be conducted from among all
eligible Entries received prior to the time of termination, if a sufficient number of non-suspect
Entries have been received. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
All Entries become the property Sponsors and will not be returned. By participating in this
Sweepstakes, Entrants understand and agree (and agree to confirm in writing) to abide to these
Official Rules which are final and binding and the decisions of Sponsors with respect to all
aspects of the Sweepstakes, which are final. Sponsors are not responsible for and shall not have
any liability for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of
the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of any prize. In no event will more than the number
of prizes stated in these Official Rules be awarded.
7. DISPUTES: As a condition of participating, except where prohibited by law, Entrants agree
(and agree to confirm in writing), to the extent permitted by law: (a) to release the Released
Parties, as defined in Section 6 herein, from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with
respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize, (b) that under
no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all
rights to claim, punitive, special, incidental and/or consequential, or any other damages, other
than for actual out-of-pocket expenses and waives any and all rights to have damages multiplied
or otherwise increased; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this
Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form
of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-
of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ and court fees. All issues and questions
concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules,
the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes, or
the conduct of the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the
laws of the State of Washington, U.S.A., without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict
of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Washington or any other jurisdiction), which
would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Washington,

U.S.A. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of
the federal or state courts located in King County, Washington, U.S.A. with respect to any legal
proceedings or disputes of whatever nature arising out of these Official Rules.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES: THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL
HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS TO PERSON OR
PROPERTY OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY DUE, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY
OR INDIRECTLY, TO THE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES, ANY PERSON’S
PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, AND/OR THE ACCEPTANCE,
POSSESSION, RECEIPT, USE AND/OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR PRIZE
COMPONENT. BY ENTERING, ENTRANTS AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD EACH
OF THE RELEASED PARTIES HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL
CLAIMS AND LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE OPERATION OF THIS
SWEEPSTAKES, THE ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, THE
ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, RECEIPT, USE AND/OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR
PRIZE COMPONENT (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY PRIZE-RELATED
TRAVEL), AND/OR USE OF THE WINNER’S NAME, LIKENESS, VOICE AND/OR
BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION AS PERMITTED HEREUNDER, INCLUDING,
WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY CLAIMS OR LIABILITY RELATING TO LOSS OF OR
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH, PERSONALITY,
PRIVACY RIGHTS OR DEFAMATION.
ENTRANTS ASSUME ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE CAUSED, OR
CLAIMED TO BE CAUSED, BY PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE
ACCEPTANCE, RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE OR PRIZE COMPONENT.
The limitations of liability set out in this clause do not apply to the extent that the damage is a
direct result of the gross negligence or willful intent of a Released Party.
9. PRIVACY: Sponsors, DCG One, and their respective contractors, agents and licensees will
have the right to process, store, disclose and otherwise use all data provided to the Sponsors in
connection with this Sweepstakes, including each Entrant’s name and email address, for the
purpose of administering the Sweepstakes. Furthermore, such data may also be used by
Sponsors for other marketing and public relations related activity and in any other manner
permitted by Sponsors’ privacy policies which can be viewed at www.hollandamerica.com and
https://www.ppatour.com/privacy-policy-2/. By entering, Entrant expressly consents to such
processing, storage and use. Personal data will be transferred to Sponsors and DCG One, and
Entrants consent to the data transmission, processing and storage of this personal data in the
United States by the entities and for the purposes as mentioned herein, and as provided in the
Sponsors’ and DCG One’s (www.dcgone.com) privacy policies. By entering the Sweepstakes,
each Entrant consents to the collection and use of data (including without limitation personal
data about the Entrant) as permitted pursuant to the Sponsors’ and DCG One’s respective
privacy policies and/or as permitted pursuant to this Section 9. Entrants are providing
information to Sponsors and not to Twitter or Facebook.
10. WINNER LIST: For the name of the Winners, available after the conclusion of the
Sweepstakes, send an email to partnerships@HollandAmerica.com with the subject line: “PPA

11. MISCELLANEOUS: If at any time any provision of these rules is or becomes illegal, invalid
or unenforceable in any respect under the law of any jurisdiction, this shall not affect or impair
the legality, validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of these rules;
or the legality, validity or enforceability under the law of any other jurisdiction of that or any
other provision of these rules.
