Official Rules
1. Eligibility: The Bradenton Area Convention/Pittsburgh Penguins 2023 Sweepstakes (the
“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia
who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Void in all other jurisdictions and where
prohibited by law. Employees and directors of Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau
(“Sponsor”), Pittsburgh Penguins LP (the “Penguins”), and each of their parent and subsidiary
companies, affiliates, divisions, franchisees, representatives, consultants, sub-contractors,
suppliers, distributors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and
marketing agencies, and members of their immediate families (defined for these purposes as
including spouse, parents, children, and siblings and each of their respective spouses) and
individuals living in the same household, are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants
agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all
matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

3. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins January 21, 2023, at 12:00:01 am Eastern Time (“ET”) and
ends on February 14, 2023, at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All times stated by
Sponsor are in Eastern Time (local to Pittsburgh, PA). Entries received before or outside of the
Sweepstakes Period will not be accepted or be eligible to win the stated Prize, except as
otherwise set forth in these Official Rules. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device
for this Sweepstakes.
4. How to Enter: Visit (the “Site”) and follow Sponsor’s
instructions to register to enter. Complying with Sponsor’s instructions and these Official Rules
will generate one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit: Each entrant may obtain only one (1)
entry into the Sweepstakes. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share an email address. Any
attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using
multiple/different email accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will
void that entrant’s entry and that entrant may be disqualified from the entire Sweepstakes. Use
of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the
event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email account
used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural
person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other
organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the
submitted address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized
account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.
5. Potential Winner Selection: After the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will randomly select a
potential prize winner from among all eligible entries received. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER
6. Verification of Potential Winner: The potential winner must continue to comply with all
terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all
requirements. The potential winner will be notified by email, telephone, or registered mail within
twenty-four (24) hours after the random drawing on or around February 15, 2023. The potential
winner must respond to the notification within forty-eight (48) hours. The winner will be required
to sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release in order to
claim the Prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond to Sponsor’s
notification within the required time period, or refuses to complete and sign the affidavit of
eligibility and liability/publicity release, that potential winner forfeits the Prize and will be
disqualified. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will select
an alternate potential winner from among all remaining eligible non-winning entries provided
that time allows for the selection of an alternate winner.

Total ARV of the Prize: $2,610
8. Prize Limitations: Prize elements (vouchers, gift cards, tickets, certificates) are subject to the
terms and conditions of the issuers including, if applicable, blackout dates, restrictions, and
expiration dates. All federal, state and local taxes associated with Prize receipt and/or use are
the sole responsibility of winner. Prize consists of only those items specifically stated as part of
the Prize. All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance or use of the Prize that are not
expressly specified in these Official Rules as being part of the Prize. including, but not limited to,
meals, gas, parking fees, insurance, tolls, beverages, activities, incidental hotel expenses,
transportation, including transportation to and from each airport, taxes and/or gratuities are the
sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or
greater value in its sole discretion. If required by law, winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for
the Prize value. Sponsor will not refund, credit, or otherwise transfer any portion of the Prize.
No cash equivalent will be given for any portion of the Prize. All portions of the Prize are non-
transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole
discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed Prize for one of equal or greater
value if the designated Prize should become unavailable for any reason. Guest companions must
be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the winner must be the guest’s parent/legal guardian.
Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, certificates or Prize items.
Prize is provided “as is.” Sponsor has not made nor is responsible in any manner for any
warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or law, relating to the
Prize, including without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition, merchantability, or fitness
for a particular purpose. Sponsor is not responsible if the hockey game is delayed, postponed or
canceled for any reason. Winner will not receive compensation from Sponsor for Prize items that
the winner is unable to use. Winner agrees that the Prize is personal to that applicable winner,
and may not be sold, resold, auctioned, bartered, assigned, exchanged, placed in commerce,
transferred, given away, donated or otherwise conveyed. Winner may be required to produce
government-issued identification. ARV of the Prize may fluctuate due to market conditions,
changes in value of components (e.g., hotel rates), and other reasons beyond Sponsor’s control.
ARV at time of actual Prize award may be different than ARV stated herein due to such
conditions. Any difference between stated ARV and actual value of Prize upon award will not be
awarded. Winner and his/her eligible Guest must complete the trip on the dates specified by
Sponsor or the Prize will be forfeited. Additional travel conditions, limitations and restrictions
may apply. Winner and any eligible Guest are responsible for obtaining any necessary travel
documents. The Released Parties are not responsible for cancellations or delays of the flights. All
travel is subject to availability and restrictions. Allegiant travel vouchers are valid for one year
from date of issuance. All booking and travel must take place within one year. Any unused
portion of the travel voucher will be forfeited. Any amounts over the value of the travel voucher
will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Allegiant travel vouchers may only be redeemed at or by calling Allegiant’s reservation center. Winner and travel guest must
travel on same itinerary. Winner and guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel
documents (e.g., a valid U.S. government issued passport, or a valid state-issued driver’s license
or Real ID-compliant license or ID, as applicable) required for travel. Winner and guest must
comply with all airline, CDC regulations, and local government laws, rules and requirements,
which may include, without limitation, wearing masks, proof of vaccination status, proof of
negative Covid-19 test administered by an approved facility, and possible quarantine. Winner
understands that there are inherent risks involved in travel and that these risks may be present
before, during and after the trip. The Released Parties are not responsible for changes in
schedule of any element of the prize or for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight
cancellation, delay, weather conditions or accommodation requests or any other circumstance
beyond its control. The Released Parties are not responsible and will have no liability if the
winner and/or his/her guest is for any reason not permitted to travel by the relevant airport
authorities or misses a flight or other travel element. The winner is responsible (at his/her
expense) for ensuring that he/she has a valid required travel documentation. Each winner must

9. Release: By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules
and the decisions of the Sponsor. By accepting a Prize, winner agrees to hold harmless Sponsor,
the Penguins, Allegiant Air, LLC (“Allegiant”) and their respective shareholders, directors,
employees, subsidiaries, affiliates and independent contractors (“Released Parties”) from and
against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of a Prize or participation in a
Sweepstakes. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be
caused by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of any Prize.
10. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winners’
consent to Sponsors’ and their agents’ use of winners’ names, likenesses, photographs, voices,
opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide,
without further payment or consideration.
11. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the
Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond
Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as
determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. This specifically includes any labor dispute, strike,
lock-out, or similar occurrence that prevents a game from being played as intended. In such
event, Sponsor reserves the right to: (a) award the Prizes at random from among the eligible
entries received up to the time of the impairment; or (b) not award a Prize, depending upon the
nature of the failure, factor, or event. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to
disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the
Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, the official rules of any other
sweepstakes or promotion, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any
attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes
may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor
reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that
12. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or
inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment
or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind,
including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or
network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry
process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration
of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or
property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s
participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize. If for any reason an
entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or
corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, if possible.
13. Disputes: Except where prohibited, all entrants and the winners (collectively, “entrants,” for
this paragraph) agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or
connected with this Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without
resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the
Middle District of Florida or the appropriate court of the State of Florida located in Manatee
County, Florida; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-
pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event
attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will the entrants be permitted to obtain awards
for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential
damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all
rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning
the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights
and obligations of the entrant Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by,
and construed in accordance with, the laws of Florida without giving effect to any choice of law
or conflict of law rules (whether of Florida or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the
application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Florida.
