CASTROL® GEAR GRAB SWEEPSTAKES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, NOR WILL A PURCHASE IMPROVE ONE’S CHANCES OF
WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES, AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY AT TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE
PROHIBITED.
ELIGIBILITY/ENTRIES: The Castrol® Gear Grab Sweepstakes is open to persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of
age, or reached the age of majority at the time of entry and a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States, or the District of
Columbia. Employees of BP Lubricants USA Inc., their subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, agencies and
members of each of their immediate families (spouses, parents, grandparents, children and siblings, and their respective
spouses) and those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s
full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all
requirements set forth herein. Sweepstakes begins on July 14, 2020 and ends on September 12, 2020 (“Sweepstakes Period”).
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
This Sweepstakes requires that you have Internet access and a valid e-mail address. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants
give their express permission to be contacted by the Sponsor via telephone, e-mail, or regular mail and to have their entry
info posted on the Castrol.com website, Castrol Facebook page, participating retailer product pages, or in any and all
media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, for the purpose of public viewing without notice, review or
approval and without additional compensation except where prohibited by law All entries become the property of the
Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain additional entries by using other e-mail
addresses, registrations or logins will void such entries and the entrant will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Entry is
for individuals only.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Visit the Castrol website promotion page at https://www.castrol.com/en_us/united-
states/home/castrol-gear-grab.html where you will see instructions on how to submit a rating and review of eligible
Castrol products. Each entrant can submit one rating/review per Castrol product. Entrants can submit a maximum of two
product ratings and reviews. One sweepstakes entry will be awarded for each completed review with a maximum of two
entries per entrant. Additional reviews will not be eligible for sweepstakes entries and will not be counted. A random
drawing from all eligible entries received will take place on or about October 1, 2020. Potential Winners will be notified
by e-mail, phone, or regular mail. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, or if
he/she cannot or does not comply with the Official Rules, such winner will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be
selected.
ALTERNATE ENTRY: Entrants wishing to enter the sweepstakes without completing a review may do so by sending
a 3 x 5 card that includes your name, complete address e-mail and phone number to Castrol Gear Grab P.O. Box 1314
Bayonne, New Jersey 07002. Each mail in will receive a maximum of 2 sweepstakes entries. There is a limit of one mail
in entry per valid mailing address. All entries must be received by September 12, 2020.
PRIZES: Castrol will randomly award 6 prizes in the sweepstakes. a Castrol Yeti® Tundra 65 Cooler (ARV. $450), a
Castrol Mountain Bike (ARV. $212), a Castrol Golf Accessory Pack (ARV. $140), a Castrol Men’s Vortex 3 in 1 Parka
(ARV. $132), a Castrol Retro Barstool (ARV. $59) and a Castrol Yeti®20oz. Tumbler. (ARV $50). Total value of all
prizes is $1043. Odds of winning a prize is dependent upon total number of valid sweepstakes entries. No substitutions of
prize or cash value will be offered unless specified prize is not available. Limit one prize per person / e-mail address. Any
other expenses associated with using the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Sponsor and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, sales
representatives, distributors, agencies and agents are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether
caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the
Sweepstakes, any computer, on-line, telephone or technical malfunctions; delays or human errors that occur in the
processing, transmission or receipt of information, or for inaccurate transcription of entry information. If, for any reason,
the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer viruses,
bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor,
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes terms and
conditions without prior notice. Sponsor also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to
be violating these Official Rules or suspected of attempting to disrupt or defraud the entry process or the operation of the
Sweepstakes, or by violating the Official Rules and interfering with the fair and proper conduct of the Sweepstakes.
Sponsor may prosecute or seek other legal redress against anyone suspected of engaging in these acts.
PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: Prizes are not transferable or assignable. No substitution or cash redemption allowed except by
Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. By accepting
prize, winner consents to use of his or her name, state of residence and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes
on-line and in print, or in any other media worldwide in connection with the Sweepstakes, without limitation and without
additional compensation worldwide, except where prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner further agrees to release
Sponsor, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies and agencies and each of their
respective officers, directors, employees and agents, including but not limited to Promotions Etc. (collectively the
“Sweepstakes Parties”), from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with
winner’s participation in this Sweepstakes, or with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any
prize, or the participation in prize-related activities. By accepting prize, winner further acknowledges that the Sweepstakes
Parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee,
express or implied in fact or in law, relative to prize or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality,
merchantability, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose.
