1.DATES OF CONTEST:
The Family Dollar “The Ultimate Family Reunion” contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on April 28, 2015 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on May 26, 2015
2.ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is open only to permanent legal U.S. residents residing in the United States or the District of Columbia, (excluding residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, Puerto Rico, and Washington) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry (the “Contestant”).

The Contestant who is selected as the potential grand prize winner (the “Grand Prize Winner”) must have a unique, personal and valid social security number for Sponsor (defined below) to report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the grand prize (the “Grand Prize”). Valid social security numbers will be determined by Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) requirements as further defined in the “Prize Claims” section of these Official Rules.

THE CONTESTANT WHO IS SELECTED AS THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER MUST AGREE TO AND PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE GRAND PRIZE. The Contestant selected as the potential Grand Prize Winner will be notified by the Sponsor (defined below) by telephone on June 3, 2015. All Contestants must supply a telephone number in which such Contestant can be reached on June 3, 2015 at time of entry. See the “Notification” section of these Official Rules for complete details.

3.HOW TO ENTER: To be eligible for this Contest, all Contestants must complete and submit all of the following (collectively, the “Submission”) between 12:00 a.m. ET on April 28, 2015 and 11:59 p.m. ET on May 26, 2015:

• Register: Visit familydollar.com/Reunion (the “Website”) during the Contest Period and click the “Register Now” button. Then, when prompted, complete the official entry form (“Entry Form”) in it’s entirety including your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, including area code (required for potential Grand Prize winning notifications), city, state and zip code;
• Photograph (the “Photo”): In the field provided, submit one (1) Photo depicting your family. It is the sole responsibility of the Contestant to obtain consent/permission from any third party present in any Photo. If any of the individuals pictured in a Photo submitted are minors in their state of residence, the Contestant represents and warrants that he/she has obtained the consent of each minor’s parent or legal guardian to photograph the minor and that such parent or legal guardian agreed that the Sponsor and its agents can use, exploit, and distribute in any media whatsoever, including without limitation the Internet, now known or hereafter created, worldwide in perpetuity, such minor’s likeness/image without any further consent or compensation. NOTE: Photos must be submitted in JPG, GIF or PNG format and must consist of a file size of 5mb or less. Photos will be used to provide visual support of the Essay (described below).
• Essay (the “Essay”): In the field provided, submit an Essay describing why your family deserves the ultimate family reunion. Maximum of five hundred (500) characters.

After checking the box indicating you have read and agree to these Official Rules, click on the “Enter Now” button to complete your Submission. Limit of one (1) Submission per Contestant.

Share your Submission: After your Submission is reviewed and approved* by the Sponsor, you will receive a link to your personal profile (“Personal Profile”). The link will be sent to the email address submitted via the Entry Form. Contestants are encouraged to utilize the Personal Profile to share their Submission. Submissions may be shared to Facebook®, Twitter®, and email directly via the Personal Profile. Submissions will receive one (1) point (each, a “SHARE”) each time the Submission is shared via Facebook®, Twitter®, and/or email during the Contest Period. There is no limit to the number of SHARES a Submission can receive during the Contest Period. The total number of SHARES received via shared Submissions will be incorporated into the final score of the Submission in the judging phase. See the “Winning” section of these Official Rules for complete details. Sponsor is not responsible for the quality of any Photo depicted on a Personal Profile.

*Approval consists of verifying the Submission complies with the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. In the event your Submission does not conform to these Official Rules, you will be notified of your ineligibility by email.

Any attempt by a Contestant to obtain more than the stated number of Submissions by using multiple/different identities, and/or any other methods will void that Contestant’s Submission and that Contestant may be disqualified from the Contest. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting a Submission, the Submission will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account (provided via the Entry Form) is registered (the “Authorized Account Holder”). The Authorized Account Holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses, or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Potential Grand Prize Winner may be required to show proof of being the Authorized Account Holder. No mechanically or programmatically reproduced Submissions are permitted. Late Submissions, or Submissions sent via any other method will not be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, delayed, misdirected Submissions and all such Submissions are void. Sponsor has no obligation to acknowledge receipt of or to return any Submission received.

All Submissions (including all intellectual property rights embodied therein) will be uploaded to the Website, shall become the exclusive property of the Sponsor, and will not be returned. Sponsor has no obligation to acknowledge receipt of or to return any Submissions received. All Contestants consent to the use of his/her name, likeness, biographical information, and voice in advertising and/or promotional activities worldwide without additional compensation. It is the sole responsibility of the Contestant to obtain consent/permission from any third party present in any Photo. If any of the individuals pictured in a Photo submitted are minors in their state of residence, the Contestant represents and warrants that he/she has obtained the consent of each minor’s parent or legal guardian to photograph the minor and that such parent or legal guardian agreed that the Sponsor and its agents can use, exploit, and distribute in any media whatsoever, including without limitation the Internet, now known or hereafter created, worldwide in perpetuity, such minor’s likeness/image without any further consent or compensation.Submissions that; (a) are determined by the Sponsor and/or the judges in their sole discretion to be indecent, offensive, inappropriate or morally objectionable; (b) are illegal or are otherwise unfit for publication to the Website, or (c) violate these Official Rules, will not be eligible. By submitting a Submission, the Contestant: (a) warrants and represents that he/she has read these Official Rules, is eligible to participate in the Contest, and agrees to be bound thereby; (b) warrants and represents that all of the information provided in his/her Submission materials is accurate, (c) warrants and represents that the Submission submitted is the original work of the Contestant and, thus, it does not and will not violate any third party’s legal rights (including without limitation rights of copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right, privacy and/or publicity), and/or any applicable law; (d) represents and warrants that the Submission materials do not contain any disabling device, virus, worm, back door or other disruptive or malicious code that may or are intended to impair their intended performance or otherwise permit unauthorized access to, hamper, delete or damage any computer system, software, network or data; (e) consents to the use of his/her name and/or likeness by the Sponsor and its respective authorized representatives for promotional purposes in connection with the Contest (whether online, in print or through any other media now known or hereafter developed), without additional compensation and unless prohibited by law; and (f) agrees that, if selected as a Grand Prize Winner, will be solely responsible for any and all resulting tax consequences. In exchange for the opportunity to participate in this Contest, each Contestant assigns all right, title and interest in and to the Submission, and any copyrights and moral rights therein, to Sponsor. Each Contestant acknowledges and agrees that, once submitted and assigned, the Contestant has no further rights to the Submission and grants to Sponsor the perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, and irrevocable right to use, edit, alter, copy, reproduce, disclose, display, publish, prepare derivative works from, perform, distribute, exhibit, broadcast, or otherwise exploit the Submission, including Submissions made available for public viewing and/or comment and/or rating and/or voting on the internet, in whole or in part, in connection with the Contest, in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed, including, but not limited to, broadcast and cable television, radio, mobile transmission, and the Internet, for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotion, entertainment and commercial purposes, without any payment to, or further authorization by the Contestant. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook® or Twitter. Contestants understand that they are providing their information to Sponsor and not to Facebook® or Twitter®.

4.WINNING: The judging of the Submissions will be conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor, whose decisions are based upon their sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules and are final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor will also determine one (1) Grand Prize Winner between the dates of May 27, 2015 and June 2, 2015 as follows:

• Essay (50% of final score): The Essay will be judged on the basis of originality (25%), creativity (25%), story appeal (25%) and affinity with Family Dollar’s values of value, convenience and quality products (25%). The total score each Submission receives for the Essay category will comprise of 50% of the final score the Submission receives.
• Photo (49% of final score): The Photo will be judged on the basis of quality (20%), originality (20%), creativity (20%), story appeal (20%) and affinity with Family Dollar’s values of value, convenience and quality products (20%). The total score each Submission receives for the Photo category will comprise of 45% of the final score the Submission receives.
• Shares (1% of final score): Sponsor will keep track of the number of SHARES each Submission receives during the Contest Period. The total score each Submission receives in the Shares category will comprise of 1% of the final score the Submission receives.

On or about June 2, 2015, the Grand Prize Winner will be determined by the Sponsor based upon the Contestant whose Submission received the highest cumulative score via the judging criteria above. In the event of a tie, the Submissions involved will be re-judged by an additional judge who will serve as a tiebreaker and evaluate such tied Submissions according to the criteria above (the “Tie Breaker”). In such case, the Submission receiving the highest cumulative score in the Tie Breaker will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. Sponsor will perform as many Tie Breakers needed in order to determine exactly one (1) Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize Winner will be notified as outlined below.

5.NOTIFICATION:
THE POTENTIAL GRAND PRIZE WINNER WILL BE NOTIFIED BY THE SPONSOR VIA TELEPHONE ON JUNE 3, 2015 AND HE/SHE MUST COMPLETE “REQUIRED DOCUMENTS” AS OUTLINED IN THE “PRIZE CLAIMS” SECTION BELOW (“Notification”). Sponsor will make two (2) attempts to reach the potential Grand Prize Winner by telephone between the hours of 8:30 a.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET on June 3, 2014. Notifications will not be left on answering machines / voicemail. If the potential Grand Prize Winner cannot be reached after two (2) attempts have been made, or, if he/she is ineligible in accordance with these Official Rules, as determined by the Sponsor in their sole discretion, he/she will be disqualified without compensation of any kind, and the Contestant who submitted the next highest scoring Submission will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner and will be notified as outlined above, time permitting. The awarding of the Grand Prize (further defined in the “Prize” section below) will commence immediately upon receipt of the “Required Documents” and completion of the background check (further described in the “Prize Claims” section below).

6.PRIZE:
There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded in the Contest.
The Grand Prize consists of an “Ultimate Family Reunion with celebrity chef Pat Neeley”, “Free Groceries for a Year” and $5,000 cash.
The “Free Groceries for a Year” portion of the Grand Prize shall be provided to the Grand Prize Winner in the form of twelve (12) $250 Family Dollar gift cards (each, a “Gift Card”).
Gift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the Gift Cards themselves and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or misplaced.
The “$5,000 cash” portion of the Grand Prize shall be provided to the Grand Prize Winner in the form of a check. The Ultimate Family Reunion shall take place on a date to be determined by the Sponsor between the dates of July 13, 2015 and July 19, 2015 (the “Reunion”).
• Reunion shall be for the Grand Prize Winner and up to ninety-nine (99) additional guests (each a “Guest”), for a total of one hundred (100) attendees. Grand Prize includes all of the following, each determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor: (a) park facility rental at a venue in the Grand Prize Winner’s city of residence (or at a city nearest Grand Prize Winner’s city of residence); (b) equipment and generators; (c) tables, chairs and other furnishings; (d) decorations, including, but not limited to, balloons / inflatables, linens, table décor, tents, and cooling; (e) audio / visual and sound system; (f) refreshments, including food and non-alcoholic beverages; (g) on-site staff to assist with set up, tear down, audio / visual and food service for the duration of the Reunion; and (h) a meet and greet with Pat Neeley, who will make an appearance at the Reunion.
• The total approximate retail value (the “ARV”) of the Grand Prize is: $27,150. Any difference in the stated ARV and the actual value at time of booking all Reunion elements will not be awarded. Sponsor will coordinate the booking of all Reunion elements. Any expenses related to the Grand Prize including without limitation, any taxes, fees, gratuities and personal expenses not listed herein as part of the Grand Prize, are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize consists of only the items specifically listed herein. Depictions of any part of the Grand Prize in any advertising or promotional materials may not reflect the actual prize awarded to the Grand Prize Winner.

Reunion must take place on a date to be determined by Sponsor between the dates of July 13, 2015 and July 19, 2015 and Grand Prize Winner must confirm agreement to Reunion date upon claiming Grand Prize at time of notification or Grand Prize will be forfeited. In such case, an alternate Grand Prize Winner will be selected based upon the Contestant who received the next highest scoring Submission, time permitting. Each Guest will be required to complete and return a “Guest Release” as further described in the “Prize Claims” section below, and may be required to complete a background check prior to his/her attendance at the Reunion, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Reunion elements are final once confirmed and may not be changed for any reason, other than at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.. Grand Prize is taxable as income and all federal, state, and local taxes, including but not limited to any taxes imposed on the income of the Grand Prize Winner as a result of winning the Grand Prize, and all other expenses not specifically mentioned herein as part of the Grand Prize, are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. No substitution or cash alternative will be provided. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize with a prize of comparable or greater value if Grand Prize should become unavailable for any reason. Grand Prize is not transferable prior to award. The Grand Prize consists only of the items specifically listed as part of the Grand Prize description. No more than the number of Prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. The Grand Prize will be awarded time permitting.

7.PRIZE CLAIMS:
Except where prohibited by law, the potential Grand Prize Winner must sign and return to Sponsor within twenty-four (24) to forty eight (48) hours of receipt, an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release (the “Release”) and an IRS Form W-9 in order to claim his/her Grand Prize (collectively, the “Required Documents”). If the potential Grand Prize Winner fails to return the Required Documents within twenty-four (24) to forty eight (48) hours of receiving it, the potential Grand Prize Winner forfeits his/her right to the Grand Prize and another potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected based upon the Contestant who submitted the next highest scoring Submission, time permitting. THE CONTESTANT WHO IS SELECTED AS THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER MUST AGREE TO AND PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE GRAND PRIZE. In order for the Grand Prize Winner to be confirmed, he/she must agree to and pass a Criminal Background check, which will be conducted by the Sponsor upon receipt of the Required Documents. If the results of the Background check are not satisfactory (which shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor), the Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified without compensation of any kind and an alternate Grand Prize Winner will be selected as outlined above. Upon successful completion of the background check, the confirmed Grand Prize Winner must submit to Sponsor, within twenty-four (24) to forty eight (48) hours of receipt a list of the names, addresses and birth dates of each Guest that will attend the Reunion. Each Guest must also return, within this twenty-four (24) to forty eight (48) hour time frame, a “Guest Release” form. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a Criminal Background check for any potential Guest who submits a Guest Release form. If the results of the Criminal Background check for a Guest are not satisfactory (which shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor), the potential Guest will be disqualified from attending the Reunion. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor the Grand Prize Winner, may elect to invite an alternate Guest, subject to the above verification process.

At the end of the tax year for which the Grand Prize is awarded, Grand Prize Winner will be issued a Form 1099 equivalent to the retail value of the Grand Prize, for income verification and tax purposes. Grand Prize Winner is advised to seek independent counsel regarding the tax implications of his/her Grand Prize winnings. Potential Grand Prize Winner must report income to the IRS. In the event it is deemed during the verification process that the potential Grand Prize Winner does not have a unique, personal and valid social security number for Sponsor to report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the Grand Prize, potential Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified and another Grand Prize Winner will be selected as outlined above, time permitting. Valid social security numbers will be determined by IRS requirements.

If it is determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, that the potential Grand Prize Winner is not eligible in accordance with these Official Rules, the potential Grand Prize Winner forfeits his/her right to the Grand Prize and an alternate will be selected as outlined above, time permitting. In the event that the potential Grand Prize Winner or Guest is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor shall have no liability or obligation to such individual. Grand Prize Winner and each Guest consents (and agrees to sign any additional documents required by Sponsor to formalize, effect or perfect such consent, except where prohibited by law) to Sponsor’s use of his/her name, likeness (photograph), biographical information, and voices in advertising/publicity/trade without compensation, notice or approval; and, Grand Prize Winner/Guest disclaims any ownership rights of such advertising/publicity/trade material (TN residents are not required to sign a publicity release).
8.GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of Submissions, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and conduct the Contest in a manner which in its sole discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted to the Website. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the Submission process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or reject any incomplete, inaccurate or false Submission. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR’S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.

9.RELEASE:
By participating in this Contest, Contestants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Facebook, Inc., Twitter, Inc., and each of their respective officers, directors, managers, employees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, members, shareholders, insurers, servants, divisions, predecessors, successors, representatives, distributors, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, including the Independent Administrator, consultants and legal advisors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt, redemption or use of the Grand Prize.

10.LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a); unauthorized human intervention in any part of the submission process or as it pertains to the Contest; (b) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of Submissions; (c) any injury or damage to persons or property (including but not limited to Contestant’s wireless device, or mobile phone) which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Contestant’s participation in the Contest; (d) any printing or typographical errors in any Contest -related materials (if applicable); (e) stolen, lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, or indecipherable Submissions or the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, wireless device carrier networks or Internet Service (as applicable); (f) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, mobile device, cable, network (including Contestant’s particular wireless device carrier network), hardware or software; (g) Contestant’s inability to connect to his/her particular mobile device carrier network for any reason, including due to poor carrier reception and/or signal strength at any particular location (if applicable); and (h) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, wireless device carrier networks or Internet service. All federal, state and local regulations apply.
11.USE OF DATA / CONTESTANTS PERSONAL INFORMATION/PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS:
Information collected from Contestants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policies, located at http://www.familydollar.com/termsofuse.aspx. By participating in the Contest, Contestants acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s privacy policy and hereby agree to: (a) Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy; and (b) receive Promotional Materials from Sponsor. 12.WINNER’S LIST/OFFICIAL RULES REQUEST:
For the name of the Grand Prize Winner or a copy of these Official Rules, please submit a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt no later than July 31, 2015 to “The Ultimate Family Reunion Contest”, PO Box 560, Milford, IA 51351 (please specify “Winners List” or “Official Rules Request” on the outside of the envelope).
